Obama throws Arizona a few scraps from the table. . . .

I woke an illegal alien up at approximately 10:40AM Monday morning. He was sleeping on the ground across the road from my home. I happen to live 80 miles north of the Mexican border and my east fence looked a lot like the Mexican border with “Pedro” crashed out there. He wasn’t there at 5:00AM when I took my dogs out to walk my perimeter. He must have appeared sometime after sunrise and made himself at home on MY street.

These are the same illegal aliens that scare my neighbors in the middle of the night. The same illegal aliens that break into homes to steal food and guns. The same illegal aliens that burden the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. This invasion from Mexico has become more than just a menace.

Governor Jan Brewer has recently taken notice of my favorite travel caution signs south of Interstate 8. She recently made a short but direct to the point video using the signs as a backdrop.

Brewer to Obama: Warning Signs Are Not Enough

Earlier this month, Governor Jan Brewer sat in the Oval Office with President Barack Obama to discuss the critical issue of border security. The Governor personally related to the President the concerns of millions of Arizonans over the lack of security on Arizona's southern border. During their visit, President Obama committed to present details, within two weeks of their meeting, regarding his plans to commit National Guard troops to the Arizona border and commit to spend $500 million in additional funds on border security.

After nearly four weeks(not two as Obama promised) White House staffers arrived in Arizona to offer us just 524 troops to put on the border. This is a slap in the face! Some $600 million was promised as well.

As most of us know, federal money is foolishly squandered leaving no meaningful results behind. The perfect example of government efficiency is the border fence. I've read that a border fence, would cost $6-10 billion. It sounds like a bargain! How much have we wasted in Iraq? Afghanistan? Sent to Israel?

524 Guard troops being sent to Ariz. border by late Aug

The federal government will deploy 524 National Guard troops to the Arizona-Mexico border by late August, according to representatives from President Barack Obama's administration.

The delegation met Monday morning with Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and Attorney General Terry Goddard in Tucson. During those meetings, the federal representatives also pledged $600 million in emergency funding to help with border-security issues.

Obama had originally said that he planned to send 1,200 National Guard troops to the U.S./Mexico border. Once again, we have another empty promise from the “empty suit”.

While at the same time, Obama announced that "we will stay for however long it takes" in Afghanistan. So much for his promised exit. Yet, there is no military resistance to an open invasion by Mexico. Obama will more than likely stand with Mexico and invite them into Arizona and the rest of the country.

Time and again, Obama has clearly demonstrated his apathy towards the border crisis and the citizens of Arizona and the United States. As I’ve stated before, Obama is playing “Russian Roulette with both, Americans and Mexicans by ignoring the illegal alien problem. His hands are already dripping with blood.
