A bomb explodes outside the Casa Gande Social Security office and the suspect turns out to be a violent Iraqi ex-con

I live about 30 miles west of Casa Grande, AZ. Almost nothing of interest ever happens there. I worked in a number of industries in this small city and commuted there, daily for a number of years. Crime is normally restricted to Hispanic gangs and drug related activities. Who would have ever thought than an Iraqi national, with ties to terrorist activities would detonate a crude explosive device outside the Social Security office, which is across the street from the police station

Having visited the Social Security office, myself, I can tell you that nothing worth blowing up is inside. A lone Wackenhut (armed) security guard sits at his station inside the door. He probably has one of the easiest jobs in town.

Obama and Bush are both negligent in their duty to keep these people out of our nation. We must now assume that it is our job. That's right, us... DHS is one of the most dysfunctional agencies I have ever encountered. Call it corrupt, or idiotic, but whatever the name it is full of extremely incompetent, dysfunctional, cynical and vindictive caseworkers who don't have a clue how to deal with people. More I certainly couldn't have said it better. More

Man in custody after explosion at Social Security office in Casa Grande

Officials from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Phoenix and the FBI field office declined to comment, but The Arizona Republic and 12 News learned that a man had been in custody since about 9 a.m. Friday. Full Story

UPDATED: Iraqi refugee arrested for bombing Arizona Social Security office with IED, media silence ensues

The typically quiet town of Casa Grande, Arizona, was rocked by an explosion at the local Social Security Administration office early Friday morning of what appears to an improvised explosive device (IED). No one was hurt in the explosion, which occurred shortly before the office was scheduled to open. The explosion was reportedly heard and felt all over the area. Full Story

Most media outlets are so politically correct that they never publish the ethnicity of criminal suspects, except when the suspect is white. Here we have an Iraqi running around setting of an explosive device and the local media says nothing of this. Remember, there are bombings almost every day in Iraq. Bring their people over here and what do you think is going to happen? All of these “media elites” place political correctness far above public safety.

Casa Grande bombing suspect set for court Monday

Aldosary is accused of detonating an improvised explosive device (IED) at the office in downtown Casa Grande early Friday morning. No one was injured, but the blast shook buildings and their occupants. Full Story

Aldosary was ordered held without bail. He was deemed a danger and a flight risk. Unlike his first appearance, 47-year-old Abdullatif Aldosary cooperated with his attorney and the judge. Federal agents say they even found instructions on bomb making hidden behind a picture frame hanging on the wall. More

Arizona bombing suspect should have been deported in 2009

Abdullatif Aldosary, the 47-year-old Iraqi national charged with detonating an explosive device at a Social Security office in Casa Grande, Ariz. last week, had a felony record in this country prior to Friday's incident, which made him eligible for deportation. Full Story

The Department of Homeland Security blew it. On April 29, 2009, five days after Aldosary began serving his sentence, the Department of Homeland Security issued a detainer for him. However, the hold was canceled on October 29, 2009, despite the felony conviction. They allowed an obviously dangerous foreign national to remain in the United States.

Gosar questions how bomb suspect was allowed to live in AZ

Gosar said DHS responded by saying Aldosary was not eligible for a permanent change to citizenship "pursuant to the terrorism-related grounds of inadmissibility, and that "individuals who engage in terrorism-related activity … are barred from receiving various immigration benefits." Full Story

Aldosary has been on the Department of Homeland Security's watch list for over eight years. A pattern of incompetence and protected status for criminal aliens... In one of the most absurd examples of immigration enforcement malpractice yet, this week ICE is planning to take a pass on removing a criminal alien convicted of vehicular manslaughter. But under an Obama administration policy implemented last year, officials were told to reclassify one of his offenses to allow him to stay in the United States. More Related

Beware any promises from DHS that its policies keep criminals and other dangerous individuals from obtaining legal status under the extensive array of benefits and amnesty programs. Clearly their definition of "criminal" or "dangerous" leaves a lot of room for error.
