Dog and pony show: Our government continues to sell us out... Does your cleaning lady work for the drug cartel?

On Sunday, I came across a Chevy Blazer with a shredded front tire, on the B.L.M. land, off Century & Hidden Valley Rd., under the power line. There was a magnetic sign on the passenger door for a local housekeeping service. Nearby, was an Indian woman with tats on her neck. There were two other "lurkers", off in the bushes. They looked out of place and odd. One was a Caucasian male. Which brings me to the question, "Does your cleaning lady work for the drug cartel?"

Recently, grandmothers and other seemingly unlikely suspects have been arrested for crimes related to drug and human smuggling. Perhaps, the poor economy is driving people, who are not run of the mill career criminals, into a life of crime. About an hour after encountering these characters, I found a food stash, menudo and bacon flavored refried beans.

It took about an hour to pack the 30 pound backpack of groceries out of the wash. Lucky for me, I had a package of tortillas at home. We go to great lengths to not waste the various "spoils" we recover from the desert.

Bapchule grandma, grandson smuggle illegal alien, drugs

Sheriff Paul Babeu said, “Drug and human smuggling often go hand in hand. This illegal Perez-Felix is also a drug smuggler and was working with U.S. criminals. Lewis had a semi-auto handgun and a police scanner which was monitoring our radio conversations. The public needs to hear these stories to better understand how these criminals operate and often evade detection from our deputies.” Full Article

The one and only comment to this article: "They are only looking for a job. Ask our Rep. Barber. We can’t split up families. You heartless Americans who are racists and want those secure borders. This is what the new democrat party looks like. Pathetic."

PCSO makes a drug arrest after routine traffic stop

"Hernandez told detectives she left the home she was living at in Phoenix and was headed to Harrah's casino. She claimed she saw a male subject standing by the side of Highway 347 attempting to wave her down. She stopped and the next thing she knew the male subject and all of the others got into her vehicle," stated Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu. "Hernandez said she usually stops and helps people when they are stranded. The males offered her $300 in cash to take them to Phoenix. She knew what she was doing was wrong. She also claimed no knowledge to the marijuana inside of her vehicle." Full Article

We were kept in the dark on [Operation] Fast and Furious when high-powered weapons were going south without our knowledge -- and now, the federal government is operating behind our back again to give immunity to certain cartel members. Once again, the federal government is arming the very people we're fighting.

DEA accused of giving immunity to Sinaloa cartel

In federal court documents sent to CBS 5 News, a lawyer for one of the cartel's highest lieutenants, Jesus Vicente Zambada-Neibla, alleges the U.S. government entered into an agreement with the notorious Sinaloa cartel, one of the largest drug trafficking organizations in the world. It was to provide information against rival Mexican drug trafficking organizations. In return, the U.S. government agreed not to interfere with Sinaloa's drug trafficking activities into the U.S between 2000 and 20-12. Full Article

Meanwhile, Eight million illegal immigrants, including visa overstays, are working in, non-agriculture, American jobs, by using false, or stolen SS numbers. Less than 7% of the over 7 million employers are using E-Verify. The "our border is secure" sideshow continues: Wednesday, January 22, 2014... "This morning I'm with DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson at the border. Secretary Johnson is making his first trip as DHS head to the southwest border, a critical step so he can see firsthand the concerns and issues facing the people I represent who live and work on the border and hear from them directly. Stay tuned for updates throughout the day." Rep. Ron Barber. My question... Why are you showing him a "safe" spot where there's a fence? Johnson says officials should continue monitoring trends along the border. That's all? More KVOA
