After Action Report: National Socialist Movement Meeting & Rally, Frankfort, KY 2012

After an interesting and educational two day cross country Greyhound bus trip, I arrived in Frankfort, Kentucky on Friday, April 20, 2012, to attend the annual national meeting of the National Socialist Movement, America's largest White Civil Rights organization. This is the third time I have had the honor and privilege of attending.

Once I finished unpacking, it was time to get down to business. We put on our uniforms and made our way to the meeting. Arizona Unit members stepped up to the plate and assisted the Kentucky unit in the preparation of the banquet. The meeting and banquet were held at a beautiful clubhouse in a rural area. The Kentucky Units should be commended for their tremendous efforts in making this a very successful event.

Following a meal including pork, turkey and some amazing sausage and sauerkraut, we commenced with our speeches. Subjects of discussion included the N.S.M.'s involvement in patrolling south Florida in the wake of the highly publicized and exploited Trayvon Martin shooting, our continued border operations in Arizona, the acquisition of a building in North Dakota and the N.S.M.'s solution to the imploding U.S. economy.

I was particularly impressed with Brian Culpepper's (Tennessee Unit) speech on the National Socialist Movement's economic model and solution to the failing economy of the United States. Under National Socialism, cradle to grave welfare would be eliminated. If you are able bodied and do not work, you will not eat. Our border would be secured and illegal aliens would be deported. Foreign aid, especially to Israel would be cut. Israel receives enough aid from the United States that every man woman and child in that country could receive $26,000 annually. Overseas Military bases would be closed and our troops sent home to actually protect OUR country. Many useless government agencies would be closed. Lastly, the Federal Reserve would be audited. Even the moderates and main stream should take note of the N.S.M.'s workable economic model.

Region 11 Director SSgt. Harry L. Hughes III gave a speech and report updating N.S.M. border operations. SS Lt. Schneider took the floor and offered SSgt. Hughes a standing ovation and three sieg heils. This was a deeply moving experience for me as I am only doing what a true patriot would do, defend our country from foreign invasion. I was indeed, humbled.

Due to the tremendous volume of business, we were unable conclude our meeting on Friday night. We continued the meeting Saturday afternoon, following our rally on the Capitol steps in Frankfort, KY. There was some light rain Saturday morning, but the weather cooperated enough for us to stay dry. Rain or shine, the N.S.M. marches forward.

We were pleased to see that many dedicated supporters stood the line with us. Members of the Loyal Knights of the Ku Klux Klan from North Carolina, Kentucky and West Virginia joined us on the Capitol steps. At the head of the counter protest line, a handful of White People proudly displayed a White Pride World Wide flag. Police in tactical gear with shields stood by, but were not needed. It would appear that many of the citizens of Kentucky weren't too offended by our presence, In fact, we received support.

I took some great photos and some short video of our trip to the meet up area prior to the rally. I gave a speech from the Capitol steps. I talked about illegal immigration, border security and how 26 sex offenders were stopped at the Arizona/Mexico border during the month of March. Those were the ones that were captured. I'm sure many more were able to penetrate our porous border. Now, they are on our streets preying on America's children.

The sound system was excellent and the audio quality was some of the best I've enjoyed, as of late. The masked anarchists with black flags were missing from the police lines. I learned that Frankfort has an ordinance that prohibits the wearing of masks. The Commie antifascist cowards were too afraid to show their faces. The counter protesters that did attend were a hodgepodge of homosexuals, Communists, Blacks, degenerates and those that suffered from "white guilt".

Following the rally, we concluded our meeting with more speeches and food. Our comrades from the Loyal Knights Ku Klux Klan also attended our after event. This was one of the best meetings I've attended, thus far.

Following the after party, almost everyone met for pizza and beverage at Fat Kats, the pizza place next door to the Motel. The place was also very popular with the Georgetown Police Department. Cops usually know where the good food is. We enjoyed good company, food and drink until closing time.

On Sunday morning, it was time for all of us to pack our bags and return to our home states. I would spend nearly two days on the bus before finally returning home. I was fortunate to have a laptop and internet access on the bus. I made good use of my time by editing my photographs and keeping my comrades in Arizona up to date.

I will certainly be looking forward to next year's gathering.

88,

Harry

My journey via Greyhound Bus to the NSM National Meeting in Frankfort, KY

When the National Socialist Movement announced that our annual national meeting was going to be held in Frankfort, Kentucky, I immediately began to wonder how I was going to get there. I didn't want to deal with the high cost and aggravations associated with air travel and Frankfort was certainly too far to drive. Gasoline was approaching $4.00/gallon and would also be cost prohibitive. I finally decided on the Greyhound Bus.

Using the internet and my credit card, I purchased a round trip ticket from Phoenix, Arizona to Frankfort, Kentucky. My fare was only $220. I was pleased with this price and all I had to do, at this point, was pack and wait for my departure date.

On Tuesday, April 18, 2012, I arrived at the bus terminal in Phoenix, AZ, checked my bag and boarded the bus. I was on my way to Kentucky. This trip would take two full days with only a few stops, including three transfers, along the way.

The bus that departed Phoenix would conclude its' route in St. Louis, Missouri. I would be switching buses in Oklahoma City. My bus was full. Many of my "fellow passengers" were Negroes. I soon learned that bus travel in no way, shape or form resembled air travel. I soon discovered that an entirely different and often unpleasant class of people ride the bus.

I learned that having so much "diversity" sitting behind me was not a good thing. I had to constantly remain alert of my surroundings. I never let my cameras or backpack out of my sight. The bus driver, Eddie, had to constantly remind the black passengers to turn down their rap music, refrain from using profanities and not disturb the other passengers. Eddie had to do this every hour or two. I was under the impression that the Negroes thought the rules of conduct did not apply to them.

Knowing that I was going to be on the road for a couple of days, I prepared for that reality. I packed several 32 oz. bottles of Powerade and a large zip lock bag containing granola bars, crackers and beef jerky in my carry on bag. I also brought enough cash to buy a couple of sandwiches. It became obvious to me by the time we got through the Texas Panhandle that my fellow non-white passengers did not come prepared, at all.

Our bus made a rest stop in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and I purchased a box of chicken nuggets. I returned to the bus and ate them without incident. Not long after, one of the Negroes behind me introduced himself to me as "Charles". I immediately thought of a colorful character from Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. Charles didn't really want to be my friend. He was sizing me up. Prior to the next rest stop, Charles was asking me for money. Being economically challenged myself, I could not afford to feed everyone on the bus.

I was certainly glad when I reached Oklahoma City, parted company with the annoying Negro Charles and boarded my next bus, which was bound for Memphis, Tennessee. This bus was newer, had electrical outlets and free internet. This was certainly a step up. I removed my laptop from my backpack and went online. I spent quite a bit of time chatting with ST Thora Jaeger, who was watching my home and dogs while I was on the road. I also took this time to download and edit photographs from my camera.

I got off the bus in Memphis and had a couple of hours to kill before the bus bound for Nashville was scheduled to depart. When it came close to my departure time, I went to the gate and got in line. A rather heavy fellow wearing bib overalls was there with a very large box that emitted an unpleasant odor. I told the woman behind me that whatever was in that box was probably going to hatch and run loose on the bus. I thought we would have to kill it like on some Alien movie with Sigourney Weaver (Ellen Ripley). Everybody around me laughed.

By departure time, there was about 50 people in line. Many of them were very tired looking Blacks. The bus did not come and no announcements were ever made as to the status of the bus. There was not one White employee at the Memphis terminal. Many of the passengers were becoming visibly agitated. After nearly an hour (behind schedule), I went to the ticket counter and learned that the bus broke down and would be late. It looked to me that the Negroes in line behind me were on the verge of "chimping out". Finally, after waiting over 90 minutes, the bus arrived and I boarded. I was on my way to Nashville, then on to Louisville, Kentucky.

My final transfer was in Louisville. There were only three passengers on the bus to Frankfort, which was less than an hour away. My final stop was at the Walmart in Frankfort. In the transnational corporation controlled world, all roads lead to Walmart.

On my return trip home, I traveled the southern route through Texas. Once again, the various drivers had to constantly remind the annoying Negroes to turn their rap music down and not disturb the other passengers. I was also frequently annoyed by my fellow passengers begging for money. Keep in mind, I'm a low income person that was taking the bus to avoid the high cost of air travel. I honestly thought that the bus driver should throw these beggars off the bus. Buses and bus stations are magnets for scummy parasites. When I arrived in El Paso, Texas, another beggar approached me. Soon after, a Mexican tried to sell me a fake gold chain for $24. The black security guard at the terminal milled about, doing nothing resembling his job.

I'm finally on Interstate 10 passing through New Mexico. I only have a few hours left to go. The bus stopped at a Border Patrol check point and agents boarded the bus and check passengers, while a canine checked the outside of the coach. To my surprise, nobody tried to run away.

I learned that bus travel is economical, but very challenging to my patience. I had to exercise restraint on multiple occasions. I lost count of how many times I wanted to. . . Well, you fill in that part. Video

After Action Report: The National Socialist Movement attends the SB 1070 protest march in Phoenix, AZ

On Wednesday, April 25, 2012, ST Thora Jaeger and myself conducted a very successful operation in downtown Phoenix. Our goal was to get up close photos of the anti SB 1070 march that would pass the Sandra Day O'Connor Federal Courthouse along Washington Street. We managed to put ourselves right in the middle of the action. Wearing plain clothes and armed with cameras, we patiently waited. Our patience really paid off.

Prior to the march, we conducted a walking tour of downtown Phoenix. We spent close to six hours observing and taking photographs. We encountered a lone Sheriff Joe Arpaio protester in front of the Wells Fargo Building where the sheriff has his offices. About an hour before the marchers were scheduled to appear, several vehicles from the Department of Homeland Security parked in front of the Sandra Day O'Connor United States Courthouse. We also spoke to the security agent at the parking garage entrance for several minutes and picked up some information.

A wide variety of people participated in this march. Some were Mexicans, but others were not. A couple of marchers were dressed as Mexican midget wrestlers. I guess they didn't want to show their faces in public. Another protester wore a Joe Arpaio mask. Someone even dressed up like the devil. Most carried signs displaying their varied messages.

Shortly before 5:00PM, the police appeared and we could hear the sounds of the marchers. Some of the protesters were actually banging on pots and pans. They approached us as they headed eastbound on Washington St. They were headed right for us. A couple of news photographers took up position on the second floor landing of a parking garage. the ABC Channel 15 van and video camera operator was positioned directly behind us.

At this point, the marchers were reasonably orderly and peaceful. Some even stopped long enough to pose for us with their signs. As I learned later, they did not remain peaceful and orderly.

Shortly after we departed the venue, the protesters marched to the ICE building and became disruptive after learning that SB 1070 would more than likely stand after being argued in the Supreme Court earlier in the day. They blocked the Light Rail and spilled out into the street blocking traffic. Police with riot gear were deployed to restore order. Arrests were ultimately made when the protesters refused to comply with lawful orders. As you can see, when these people don't get their way, they resort to criminal behavior. As a nation of laws, the United States doesn't need the likes of people like this.

Of course, the best way to derail or kill your movement is to show up on the street and start acting like criminals. These marchers gave themselves and their credibility a big black eye yesterday afternoon. Keep it up. Our sovereignty depends on these people acting like savages. Hopefully, innocent bystanders won't get hurt in the process.

Needless to say, I was very disappointed to see quite a few brainwashed and confused White People marching in opposition to securing our Mexican border and protecting our country from illegal invaders. An open border permits an unchecked flow of dangerous drugs along with criminals involved is all sorts of horrendous enterprises, including sex trafficking.

During the month of March, 26 sex offenders were stopped at the Mexican border attempting to enter the United States. These are only the ones that got caught. Criminals, sociopaths, pedophiles and a whole assortment of degenerates have easy access to our country and YOUR children. I drove this point home during my speech at the National Socialist Movement's rally in Frankfort, Kentucky last Saturday. With a stolen identity, a sex offender from Mexico (or anywhere) can easily get a job as a janitor in your child's school.

These people (actually savage animals) are in your neighborhoods and walk your streets. They are already here in force. These are dangerous criminal infiltrators. Remember, the chicken hawks go where the chickens are. Wake up White America. You life could depend on it. Nobody is safe from these predators.

I just returned from a six day cross country trip to the National Socialist Movement's national meeting in Frankfort, Kentucky

Greeting to all of my readers. I have just returned to Arizona from the National Socialist Movement's national meeting and rally in Frankfort,Kentucky. In the coming days, I will prepare reports and video slide shows of the past week's fascinating and exciting activities. For the first time, I traveled to an event via Greyhound Bus. That experience was most interesting and exciting.

I will be posting a separate account of my experience traveling among the “bus people” and the scary things, such as freaks and degenerates that lurk around the bus stations of America's cities. The thing that bugged me the most was that so many “fellow passengers” had the nerve to beg and panhandle for money from me.

These people had absolutely no honor or self respect. Greyhound drivers should throw creeps like this off the bus. Instead, they were permitted to bother other passengers, many of whom have plenty of their own financial problems.

I was away for a total of six days. Four of those days were spent crossing the country through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky. The bus made occasional stops and I made a few transfers. I was awake day and night. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep, until I arrived in Frankfort.

Preliminary After Action Report

Comrades,

This is just a preliminary After Action report to update the Party membership on how things went this weekend. Further after action reports will follow in the upcoming days along with pictures, video, and a double DVD set from the Meeting and Rally.

The April 2012 National Meeting and rally on Friday April 20th in Kentucky was one of our best ever, and a smashing success as expected. NSM Kentucky did an excellent job setting up the event, and we provided enough food to feed a small army both nights. This years speeches were excellent, new goals were set forth, and this years special announcement and news was unveiled at the meeting. The donation of of a building in the State of North Dakota by our Comrade Craig Cobb was unveiled and pictures of the property were passed around the hall to a roaring applause from our Folk.

In addition to the acquisition of the property, we have job opportunities and living quarters available to NSM members in good standing in North Dakota. NSM TN. announced they are currently building a community in the Eastern part of TN. and have plenty of job opportunities available in their Region as well.

Saturday was the march and rally at the State Capitol Building in Frankfort. Nearly 100 NSM and Klan members formed up in solidarity for the rally. Our first sight near the capitol was a mob of homosexuals, anarchists, and other anti-White protesters, at the time we formed up their numbers were considerably less than ours, they had approximately 50 or 60 assorted degenerates, just beyond them we noticed a group of about a dozen white supporters holding a White Pride Worldwide flag who saluted as we proceeded towards the Capitol.

There is much more to report, and so many people who deserve to be singled out for their efforts in the NSM over the past years. You all know who you are, your Party salutes you! We would also like to thank and salute all of our friends in the Klan who assisted us in this effort. Activism and solidarity between different factions of the White Movement is a good thing to see and have participated in. These actions will continue, and more announcements will follow.

Our van pool just returned to Detroit, and I wanted to release a quick statement to let everyone know what has taken place and about some of the good things to come!

Here are some news links from this weekend: The first one is video:

After Action Report: Saturday, November 5, 2011, Reclaim the Southwest, Pomona, California

The California chapter organized yet another successful rally, in fact our largest California rally to date. The Reclaim the Southwest Campaign continues forward. Thursday evening myself and a few of our Comrades went down to Pomona City Hall for an interview with a Los Angeles based TV network. On Saturday morning American Patriots gathered and we drove a convoy of 19 cars and vans into Pomona for the rally. The National Socialist Movement along with some solid Comrades from other groups brought in approximately 80 or more Patriots to Pomona City Hall to protest the California Dream Act, the influx of illegal aliens, and sanctuary cities. Several local media outlets ran reports claiming a couple dozen or 30 NSM supporters attended the event while others more accurately quoted 75, these figures do not include any of our supporters who attended out in the mostly hostile audience.

We parked our cars in a secure lot, formed up, and headed towards the front of City Hall. The usual assorted dregs of society (members of the ara/anti-racist action, communist party, along with a collection of various violent anarchists) let loose as we approached the street and started throwing drinks, traffic cones, and whatever other items they could find. Several of the ara degenerates picked up horse droppings (feces) with their bare hands and threw the horse crap into the air. which flew back into their own group of supporters, which was quite entertaining to see. When the National Socialist Movement refers to those whom publicly stand against us as vile, degenerate, dirty, or sick people, this is the exact type of example we can use to prove our point time and time again. What type of person picks up feces with their bare hands and tosses it into the air like a child playing with a ball? Many of those whom oppose us are mentally ill, and such examples just further prove our point.

The speeches from the NSM and other Patriots started, one after the other various speakers hammered the issues effecting Pomona, the Southwest, the Economy, the Dream Act, and much more. Men and women of action were present, and prepared to face the hostile and mentally sick forces that opposed us on this day. In a day and age where laziness, complacency, and downright cowardice comes from from many whom claim to believe in what we fight for, these men and women were present on the front lines, in a City where White people are already the minority at 48% of the local population.

Saturday evening after the rally an excellent after party was scheduled and held on private property. An excellent Italian style meal was provided by NSM Inland Empire, followed by several announcements, patching in of NSM probates, and awards which were handed out, and then the stage was set for musical guests Youngland. Youngland is a really talented band, great bunch of guys, and played an excellent show! Everyone had a great time at the after event, and as always after the work is done, we know how to have a good time!

Sunday afternoon was a somber affair as we headed down to a undisclosed location at the California Border with Mexico. The ashes of our former Region 11 Leader Lt. Jeff Hall were placed along the Border as he would have wanted. Most of us whom were present scattered some of the ashes in tribute to our fallen Comrade while traditional Scottish Bagpipes were played by one of our Comrades in respect to old tradition and customs. The sound of the bagpipes as it echoed throughout the area was louder and carried further than I could have ever imagined. A fitting final tribute to our Brother whom had inspired so many men and women, and a man whom had the opposite effect upon those who hate us, they cursed his name and made signs of disrespect towards his memory at the rally the previous day. From this day forward Lt. Jeff Hall remains on guard along the U.S. Mexico Border, where he spent countless days and nights in life, he now stands guard for eternity. We miss you Brother. The Pomona Rally was done in remembrance of Jeff Hall, and was originally one of his planned events.

Thanks to all the NSM members/supporters whom attended Pomona, and thanks to our friends from S.P.S., U.S.B.G., A.V.S., G.S.S.,Youngland, and anyone else who assisted or took part in these events. We Salute You!

Pomona Neo-Nazi Rally: National Socialist Movement Fights CA's Dream Act (VIDEO)

"The American dream is not for illegals. It's for white America," Jeff Schoep, commander of the National Socialist Movement (NSM), said at the neo-Nazi group's rally in Pomona on Saturday, the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin reports. The rally, which had nearly 75 neo-Nazis in attendance, was met by more than 300 counter-protesters. One counter-protestor held a sign that said, "When did your family immigrate?," the Daily Bulletin reports. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/07/pomona-neo-nazi-rally_n_1080451.html

Pomona is a unique gathering place of continuing tension between ethnic minorities, such as Hispanics and Blacks. In 2009, an 18 year old Black named Marquis Le Blanc, was beaten and killed at a party by mostly Hispanic assailants. In the past year or so, area police have been questioned regarding the possibility of racial profiling. And most recently, nearby Coachella (97% Hispanic) and Pomona have each become known as an Immigrant Sanctuary for illegal aliens.. They are playing with ideas of civil disobedience.

Pomona, California: The National Socialist Movement Continues its' “Reclaim the Southwest” Campaign. . .

Bright and early Saturday morning, members of the Arizona unit of the National Socialist Movement departed Phoenix, Arizona for Pomona, California. Earlier this year, the NSM stood against illegal immigration in Claremont, CA. California is being destroyed by the influx of illegal aliens. Rather than supporting US Citizens, California has opted to support citizens of Mexico.

California is being bankrupted by failed liberal policies. In California, more money is spent on housing prison inmates than educating children. A large percentage of those inmates happen to be illegal aliens. Roads and other infrastructure are literally falling apart. Pomona has been designated a “sanctuary city”. Cities that openly welcome illegal aliens will continue to be targeted by the NSM.

Neo-Nazis Met with Counter Protests

Group plans to party after march and rally; police from throughout the San Gabriel Valley are standing by.

About 200 people showed up to the rally, but there were more protesters against the neo-Nazis than there were in support of them.

"Of course we are against Nazis and racism," said Yasmin Balzazar, Pomona resident. We "are coming to show support against any hate group, in a peaceful way," she added. http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/Neo-Nazis-to-March-in-Pomona-133296773.html

From the start, this rally was anything but peaceful. The moment we appeared masked anarchists and Communists attempted to break through police lines. It got to the point that police officers threatened to use chemical irritants against the hostile mob of masked savages. One angry and violent protester lacked self control. He threw an orange traffic cone and hit a peaceful NSM member. I also saw some water bottles and a cucumber fly across the street in our direction. To top things off, a protester got up behind a police horse, grabbed a handful of feces and threw it at us. The mounted police officer quickly directed the "ape-like" human back onto the sidewalk.

Having watched lots of National Geographic, I was all too familiar with how baboons and chimps (lower primates) hurl feces at one another. This was a first for me. Hopefully, I'll never get to see so-called humans act like that again.

I was honored and pleased to give a a speech during this rally. After observing less than civil, or should I say, "human" behavior, I had no problem with coming up with a few things to say about their conduct. I remained civil and even greeted my audience in English and Spanish.

During my speech, I stated that all of the men and women standing behind me were the most patriotic Americans I've ever met. The protesters across the street displayed a Mexican flag. Some obvious traitors displayed an upside down American flag that was filthy and disgraced with vile anarchist symbols. I also observed our nation's symbol carelessly dragged on the ground.

Many of these traitorous people are also behind the "occupy" movements that are happening across the country. It was obvious to me that they are bitter and hateful anti-Americans.

Jeers greet neo-Nazi rally near Pomona City Hall

About 75 people who participated in a neo-Nazi demonstration Saturday afternoon near Pomona City Hall exchanged jeers with a group of opponents before the protest ended, authorities said.

Mark Gluba, a city spokesman, said the demonstration by the National Socialist Movement began about 2 p.m. adjacent to City Hall and ended about 1 1/2 hours later.

Photo essay: Neo-Nazis clash with counter-protesters in Pomona

Pomona - Members of the neo-Nazi group known as the National Socialist Movement showed up in Pomona, California to protest against illegal immigration and what they call civil rights violations against the white race. They were met with 200 counter-protesters.

The group from the National Socialist Movement (NSM) wanted to protest in support of their campaign to "reclaim the Southwest" from illegal immigrants and other people who are non-Caucasian. http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/313961#ixzz1d3FgIdNN

Free speech. What part of freedom do those who are filled with hate, hurl bottles, throw feces, and scream obscenities- thus denying others their peaceful rights- not understand? It is a sad shame in America when Nazis act more civilized and uphold Constitutional liberty more than those who viciously attack under the banner of "peace and diversity". J.T. Ready, founder and patrol leader of US Border Guard.

Neo-Nazi Demonstration in Pomona Leads to Counter-Protest

POMONA, Calif. (KTLA) -- About 75 neo-Nazi demonstrators in front of Pomona City Hall Saturday were subject to the jeers and taunts from members of the public who did not want them there.

Police officials said several hundred people showed up to protest the presence of the Detroit-based National Socialist Movement presence about 2 p.m. http://www.ktla.com/news/landing/ktla-pomona-neo-nazi-demostration,0,24644.story

FUNSAR Training Weekend in the Superstition Mountains, Tonto National Forest. . .

As part of the Fundamentals of Search and Rescue (FUNSAR) course I'm taking at the Mesa Community College, we took an overnight trip along the Second Water Trail in the Superstition Mountains. This area is located near Apache Junction in the Tonto National Forest off SR 88. It had been some 18 years since I last hiked in this area and the years are certainly catching up with me. It wasn't as easy this time.

Old injuries and age made this outing quite a bit more challenging. I'm sure the pizza I ate before leaving slowed me down a little bit, too. The trail was rocky in places and I had to work harder than normal to keep my balance. My pack also changed my center of gravity, so I had to compensate for that as well.

Our destination was the Garden Valley. Upon reaching our destination, I unrolled my foam pad and lightweight sleeping bag. I didn't bring a tent to save on weight. I slept under the stars and got a good night's sleep. I usually don't sleep this good at home. The temperature dropped into the 50's, making it perfect sleeping weather.

Several other US Border Guard volunteers, including Patrol Leader J.T. Ready are also taking the FUNSAR course and participated in this event. USBG members took this opportunity to meet other individuals involved in various activities and explain our scope of operations in the Sonoran Desert.

And the ability to save a life is often dependent upon how quickly the person can be found and accessed. If the missing person is one of your loved ones, you will expect well-equipped, well-trained search and rescue professionals to bring your one home safely to you. The National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR) has dedicated itself to preparing those involved in search and rescue to meet your expectations. http://www.nasar.org/

This was a rather popular trail. The parking area at the trail head was almost full and people were observed everywhere. This environment was quite different than what we encounter in the drug smuggling corridors in the Sonoran Desert National Monument.

Upon emerging from the trail on Saturday morning, I was greeted by a friendly park ranger. In my neck of the woods, we don't have friendly rangers. We have BORTAC and SWAT teams. This was a real contrast to what I normally see.

BORTAC is the global special response team for the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Although I'm not a big fan of crowds, I was pleased to see people enjoying our public recreation areas without having to worry about being shot at by bandits, rip crews, smugglers or sicarios.

“These smugglers, many of them present in trafficking through my State of Arizona, create false Social Security cards, false green cards, visas and a variety of other fraudulent documents as an essential part of their smuggling activities.” --John Shadegg
