Barack Obama visits the Phoenix VA for more bread and circuses, as we learn that U.S. Government healthcare is lingering death

Barack Hussein Obama arrived in Phoenix, Arizona on Friday the Thirteenth to visit the embattled and scandal ridden Veterans Administration Medical Center. Delayed care, secret waiting lists are the allegations. I'm sure people have needlessly died, as billions are spent of office furniture and light fixtures. After all, the contracts and pay offs trump veteran care. That's how the "business" works.

I spent several hours, among the protesters, on the street. Many of the lemmings and sheeple were dissatisfied with their lives, but were unaware that Barack Obama was only the symptom and not the cause of their woes. The most ridiculous person was the man holding the megaphone and flag. Out of one side of his face, he supported the U.S. Constitution. Out of the other side of his face, he wanted to impeach Barack Obama and replace him with the war criminal suspect and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. So much for being Constitutional. I only wish I had recorded this useful idiot's ridiculous remarks. Video

“We’ll spend money for doctors for illegals coming across the border, we’ll provide transportation, provide housing for them, but we won’t do that for our veterans,” said U.S. Army veteran Robert Hogan. Seen wearing a red, white and blue bandana and waving a pro-gun flag, protester Nohl Rosen took to the megaphone to argue that President Obama be arrested and chanted the popular protest slogan “veterans before illegals.” (Editor's note: Brian Fore is a journalism student at the ASU Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and wrote the article as a class assignment.) More

Obama’s VA Failure: Huge Budget Increases and Expanded Staff Didn’t Mean Better Service

According to the government’s own data, the VA spent $108.2 billion in 2010, the first appropriation under Obama’s watch, and will spend $150 billion this year, a 46 percent increase. Those budget increases, highlighted in a new video from the Concerned Veterans for America, allowed VA staffing to rise by about 12 percent over that time period. Since 2007, the VA’s budget has doubled, and VA staff has increased 36 percent, while the number of veteran enrollees grew by just 14 percent. The Blaze

The President's motorcade was greeted with cheers and boos as he arrived at the hospital. A few hundred people came out protesting, to send a message about the treatment veterans received at the hospital. After the President arrived most of the crowd dispersed, and the Phoenix Police Department says although there were a lot of people here it was a peaceful protest. KSAZ

Meanwhile, the other victims of government intervention in healthcare are, in all likelihood, going to outnumber those that benefit. Again, the ACA only works, if you don't. About 190,000 Coloradans will lose access next year to health insurance plans which don't comply with the Affordable Care Act, the Colorado Division of Insurance (DOI) decided. "President Obama lied to the American people when he said 'if you like your plan you can keep your plan' and now Colorado families are being forced to bear the burden of that lie," Rep. Mike Coffman (R-Colorado) wrote to 9NEWS. AT

While veterans in recent years were dying as they waited for care at Department of Veterans Affairs hospitals, the VA has wasted billions of taxpayer dollars on controversial projects across the country, according to government reports and members of Congress... "All of this was aesthetics," Paul Blatnak, a private construction manager on the project, said at a court hearing in May. "Nobody was interested in cleaning up the aesthetics so that we could improve or add to the patient care." CNN

On March 3, 1865, a month before the Civil War ended, President Abraham Lincoln signed a law to establish a national soldiers and sailor’s asylum. Renamed the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers in 1873, it was the first government institution in the world created specifically for honorably discharged volunteer soldiers. The first National Home, known as Eastern Branch of the National Asylum for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers, opened November 1, 1866, near Augusta, ME. VA

The Illusion of Democracy

The electoral process is an essential part of “the consent of the governed” defined by Rousseau. In almost all of the so-called democratic countries, however, the important act of voting to elect the people’s representatives has become an exercise in futility. Today politicians, who still have the audacity to call themselves public servants, are the obedient executors of the trans-national global corporate elite. News Junkie Post

On June 10th, 1932, Congressman Louis T. McFadden, a former banker who was at that time the chairman of the House Banking and Currency Committee, gave an impassioned speech on the House floor regarding the threat to our nation posed by the Federal Reserve System.  Rep McFadden (Rep-PA) recognized the destructive impact it would have on our country and urged that it be eliminated and that the United States return to sound banking practices. The Federal Gruberment: Americans are extremely stupid and have very short memories

Barack Obama told Fox News' Ed Henry in an interview that he had "just heard about" the Gruber controversy, and Obama described Gruber as "some adviser who never worked on our staff." As usual, he didn't know anything about the scandal until he heard press reports.

"I just heard about this. I get well briefed before I come out here. The fact that some adviser who never worked on our staff expressed an opinion that I completely disagree with in terms of the voters, is no reflection on the actual process that was run. We had a year long debate, Ed. I mean go back and look at the stories."

Obama told Chief White House Correspondent Ed Henry that he had “just heard about” the multiple times Gruber was caught on camera bragging about helping the White House exploit “the stupidity of the American voter” to pass the health law. Given the president’s hugely crummy reputation for being forthcoming about his signature law, it seems that blowing off questions about what appears to be evidence of an intentional lie in the crafting of the law would be a bad idea. Obama "Grubered" himself and created the Word of the Year, while doing it. And the Obama administration can't discredit Gruber, when Obama himself was admitting eight years ago that Gruber heavily influenced his own thinking on health care.

Steve Rattner: Jonathan Gruber was 'the man' on Obamacare

“I think if you go back and look at the Washington Post or the New York Times or anything from that period you will find Jonathan Gruber’s name all over it as both someone who’s the leading expert on health care quoted by everybody, and as someone who the White House was using — I don’t think we knew the dollar numbers he was paid at the time.” Full Article

They think you're stupid, that they can pull the wool over your eyes, they know more than you do and that they know what's good for you, and it's best to simply keep you in the dark," Judge Jeanine said. "But the biggest problem with not only health care - but with everything this administration does - is that there is no transparency. More According to records, Jonathan Gruber visited the White House at least 16 times.

Obama made on numerous occasions, that you could keep your plan if you liked your plan, the administration knew this was not true. So how long will it be before Barack Obama is forced to walk back his definitive declaration that he never knew the ACA was crafted so as to mislead the people’s representatives who passed it? More

The Democrats didn't care what they had to do to make that happen, except to the extent that any particular detail was necessary to pass the bill. As long as the end result was that the government controls the game, the rest was mere details. More

For Obama, Executive Order on Immigration Would Be a Turnabout

And at a Town Hall in March of 2011, months before taking action to keep the Dreamers from being deported, Mr. Obama said the nation’s laws were clear enough “that for me to simply, through executive order, ignore those congressional mandates would not conform with my appropriate role as president.” Full Article

"'[T]here’s no denying that many blacks share the same anxieties as many whites about the wave of illegal immigration flooding our Southern border—a sense that what’s happening now is fundamentally different from what has gone on before,' then-Senator Obama wrote in his 2006 autobiography, 'The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream.'

Obama In 2006: Illegal Immigration Hurts Black Americans And Blue Collared Workers

Barack Obama in his own words taken from his book “The Audacity of Hope”. Obama knows Illegal Immigration hurts Americans, depresses wages & ‘over-burdens’ our safety net. So either Obama just doesn’t care, or he enjoys harming Americans! You be the judge. Video

"Mr. Earnest said the president and his advisers are “trying to figure out what exactly the law says"... That is NOT for the "president and his advisers" to do. It is up to the Congress to make law (and say what it says) and the United States Supreme Court to test the Constitutionality of that law. Those criteria were already met, with our current laws and it is the sworn duty of the president to enforce those laws, NOT question them or break them PERIOD. That IS the law. More

Even though those who hold positions of authority in the Obama regime are notorious liars, there seems to be some truth to their threats that Obama will indeed violate his oath and the Constitution with a dictatorial decree of amnesty for illegal aliens. He has proven that his oath and the Constitution are as meaningless to him as a promise on keeping healthcare coverage so there is no reason to doubt he’ll go ahead... More

Jonathan Gruber: “And they proposed it and that passed, because American voters are too stupid to understand the difference.”
