Low flying aircraft over my concealed LP/OP and deadly escalation at the Malhuer Wildlife Refuge near Burns, Oregon

I spent another weekend, out in the field. This time, I found a saddle (geologic feature), west of the Table Top Wilderness Area and set up camp on a chunk of solid granite. This LP/OP overlooked the Tohono O'odham, but was well hidden, amongst ironwood trees. Shortly before dark, quail flew to the trees directly behind my tent and that's where they spent the night.

Come 1:00 am, a pack of coyotes entered my camp and engaged in a shouting match, with canine Bailey. This went on for about ten minutes, before they cleared out. By early Saturday morning, a low flying aircraft was spotted and it appeared to be doing a grid search. Then, if flew over my position, just over the trees. I photographed it and recorded the tail number. It was a 1974 Cessna that belongs to AZ Game & Fish. 

All in all, it was a good camping and bird watching trip, without encountering any drug and human smuggling. On my way out of the Sonoran Desert National Monument, I observed a BLM ranger, just south of Interstate 8. Video

From "The Last Refuge"... (a4) By the 1990’s the Hammonds were one of the very few ranchers who still owned private property adjacent to the refuge. Susie Hammond in an effort to make sense of what was going on began compiling facts about the refuge. In a hidden public record she found a study done by the FWS in 1975. The study showed the “no use” policies of the FWS on the refuge were causing the wildlife to leave the refuge and move to private property. Full Article

Oregon standoff leader asks holdouts at refuge to go home

In the statement, Bundy asked the federal government to allow the people remaining at the refuge to depart without being prosecuted. Addressing those still holding out, Bundy's statement said: "Please stand down. Go home and hug your families. This fight is now in the courts. Please go home." Bear in mind, the last group of people that left the refuge were allegedly ambushed and shot by police, leaving one wounded and another dead. Fox

Hands up or charging? Conflicting reports on shooting of Oregon militia spokesman

Conflicting information is emerging over what happened after a well-known member of the militia group occupying a nature preserve in Oregon died in a shootout with federal agents. The group’s spokesman had tried to run a roadblock before he was killed. Black Lives Matter protesters in Ferguson, MO supported a strong-arm thief and robbed, looted and burned business. Baltimore, MD rioters also set fires and the police were told to "stand down" and allow the rioters space to destroy. In each instance, where destruction was caused by black thugs, the miscreants were called "peaceful protesters," by the left media. First of all, we can already see how the FCC regards the public with its refusal to make its own proposals public. Second, who will define who the “public” is? And finally, after identifying who the “public” is, how will the governing bodies of the FCC determine what the “public” wants? It would seem that we have one black celebrity that has his head on straight. Perhaps that stretch in Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Tent City did him some good. The Gateway Pundit reports that some Ferguson businesses brought in members of the local Oath Keepers group this week to protect their property from violent protesters, looters and arsonists. One local woman was upset that the group was there, on the rooftops, claiming that it’s wrong to protect other people’s property. In the wake of the sudden turn of events at the Bundy Ranch last Saturday, there's been lots of speculation as to why the events occurred, as they did. Firstly, I must dismiss many of the kooks that spewed globs of misinformation. I won't point fingers or name names, During the past week, I've done some extensive research, as did many others.

Although I have not found specific links for all I'm about to reveal, I did come across some interesting details and information that I've furnished, below. The government thinks they might like to see Cliven Bundy in court. They might not want to be so hasty. Hopefully, the Bundy Ranch will retain competent legal counsel.

It would appear the B.L.M. did not have the legal right to remove Cliven Bundy's cattle, even with the federal court order. Rule 64 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure states that any seizure of a person or property must be done in accordance with STATE law, where the court of decision is located. Meanwhile, Rule 70 provides that the party who won the judgment (that's the BLM) must have the clerk (of the court) issue a writ of execution or assistance. The writ is then executed and perfected by the Sheriff (Sheriff Gillespie), who would seize the cattle in accordance with the provisions outlined in Nevada's Law.

Nevada Law requires that the State Brandmaster or his appointee from the State Board of Agriculture be present to account for the seized animals, upon which the Department of Agriculture will take possession of the animals and deliver them to the party of judgment or their appointed agent. Now that's the law on livestock seizures that would apply in this case. As you probably already know, the B.L.M. didn't do this. They obtained a court order, skipped the court clerk, skipped the writ, skipped the Sheriff and also skipped the State Brandmaster and his department, and went straight to seizing Bundy's cattle by force. Under Nevada Law, the B.L.M. clearly engaged in a form of cattle rustling. B.L.M. also violated state and federal laws which were designed to protect Bundy's right to due process, under the law. They also did so bearing assault weapons, attack dogs and engaged in use of intimidation, as well as physical force in light of Cliven Bundy's insistence that their activity was unlawful. It is important to realize how very serious this situation is in that 18 USC 241 defines "Conspiracy Against Rights" as two or more persons who conspire to intimidate, oppress, threaten or injure any person for expressing or enjoying any rights or privileges secured by the U.S. Constitution. This is a felony and can result in ten years in federal prison. More

It is quite clear that when B.L.M. failed to adhere to Rules 64 and 70 of the FRCP, that they began unlawfully seizing Bundy's property, destroyed some of his property (B.L.M. admits to killing two bulls) and it is also believed that B.L.M. used a backhoe to destroy Bundy's range improvements (which are his property, even if the land is not). In doing so, they clearly violated his right to due process. It's also clear that when Bundy launched a resistance, that B.L.M. also attempted to intimidate, oppress and threaten him and others by deploying a wide range of tactics. Related

Several persons were injured, as is confirmed by video footage. All of the elements are there to successfully prosecute an unknown number of B.L.M. employees and contractors under 18 USC 241. That is quite a serious thing and if there is anything remotely resembling justice left in this country, I think we'll see serious repercussions for those involved in this.
