Cartel Country Happenings, Arizona Monsoon Season Arrives and the NSM July Update

For months, multiple media organizations were appearing to be making the same border story circuit, from Brownsville, TX to San Diego, CA. Finally, we got so see one of the finished products of all that borderland travel. On April 1, 2017, I was visited by a small team of journalists, who bivouacked with me, south of Interstate 8, in the Sonoran Desert National Monument. It's rare that reporters will come out to the Contested Zone and spend a night, under the stars. 

Even more rare was cooking bratwurst over an open fire with photojournalists. By far, this was one of the most laid back and relaxing media operation I ever took part in. More often, than not, the leftist controlled media will leave their objective eyes behind and push the official open borders narrative. I'm accustomed to dealing with hostile and adversarial reporters, so when I have a relaxing media experience, it's like a huge breath of fresh air. We also enjoyed some downtime target shooting, with Daisy Red Ryder BB guns and not one eye was put out.

President Donald Trump’s executive orders to increase enforcement and follow existing immigration law is leading some illegal aliens to self-deport. In a report by the Pueblo Chieftain, sources told the local newspaper that illegal immigrants, fearful of being prosecuted and deported by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), are self-deporting primarily back to Mexico. Joe Santiago Valles, a Tucson police officer from 2012 to 2014, was sentenced July 6 in U.S. District Court in Tucson to 6½ years in federal prison after pleading guilty to 30 counts of falsifying federal firearm records, identity theft and witness tampering. It’s an indication of how utterly distorted the Left’s worldview has become. An article appearing in today’s New York Times has emblazoned across its top a photograph of a forlorn-looking man, sitting on the edge of a bed, his eyes downcast. Standing across the room from him is a young girl who looks sympathetically at the man — her father — as if to say, “It’s OK, Papa, maybe next year.” More

Judicial Watch is sounding the alarm on a new policy the Phoenix Police Department has just imposed on its officers, forbidding them from asking the people they arrest about their immigration status and prohibiting them from notifying the federal government when they arrest illegals. Fake News: That "evil" US Border Patrol has weaponized the Mexican border to kill illegal aliens violating US sovereignty

Actually, a reporter, from Guardian UK, called me from Nogales (supposedly) and talked about about coming out to see our border operation in the Sonoran Desert National Monument. For whatever reason, he never confirmed a date or made any attempt to come out and see exactly what we do. After all, his story was only going one way and the open borders agenda was already set in stone. 

I'm thinking he was drunk in some Nogales motel, when the disinformation campaign and ridiculous fake news. was launched. Of course, that is only my opinion. A true journalist would have been interested in seeing what we really do. To hacks, like Rory Carrol, the "immigrant" that seeks job washing dishes is exactly the same as the cartel member that dismembers and decapitates his rivals, in order to dominate their corner of the narcotics trade.

I also have much difficulty in explaining the difference between illegal alien and drug mule to these foreign journalists. To them, they're all poor immigrants seeking a better life. Keep in mind, drug mules are the focus of our patrols and they do not stay in the United States. Many of them promptly return to Mexico, in order they pick up another load to smuggle across the border. Illegal Aliens and transnational criminals, employed by a drug cartel are two entirely different things. Sadly, the controlled media refuses to be honest, as their agenda trumps the truth (No pun intended). 

The federal agency that handles deportations spent more than $100 million of its money over the last few years to ferry illegal immigrant children around the U.S., according to calculations by a watchdog group that says the cash could have been better spent on enforcement. Government figures obtained by the Immigration Reform Law Institute through an open records request show Immigration and Customs Enforcement spent an average of $665 per juvenile in 2014, with most of that going to the cost of airplane flights to shuttle the children among government agencies, to relatives here in the U.S. or back to their home countries — if they’re deported. US Border Patrol uses desert as ‘weapon’ to kill thousands of migrants, report says

The agency blamed deaths on smugglers. “Smugglers lie, telling their ‘customers’ their passage will be safe, but in reality, the terrain is treacherous and the conditions are extreme. “Everybody knows where the checkpoints are. It’s window dressing,” said Harry Hughes, who said he had just returned from the field, monitoring cartel scouts. He doubted Trump would change much. “Congress writes the checks.” Guardian

How Breitbart and the conservative right opened a new front in the war over fake news

The Trump-supporting website has accused Guardian US of reporting ‘fake news’ about illegal immigration. Here, we set out the facts behind the original article. Breitbart faults the Guardian for using the oft-cited statistic that the Obama administration deported a record 2.5 million people, saying this is misleading or inaccurate because authorities have “inflated” the number by including a category of border crosser which used to be counted as “returned” rather than formally deported. What the biased propagandists posing as journalist fail to acknowledge is the simple fact that anyone that unlawfully crosses our border and flees from law enforcement officers is solely responsible for the fate they might face. Hey, if you want less traffic, less garbage and cleaner air, secure those borders and remove illegal aliens

Our week-long blockading border operation has concluded, without major incident. Volunteers from Massachusetts, Iowa, Florida, California and my own neighborhood participated in a "camp-out" intended to prevent drug and human smugglers from using a series of well known trails that pass through the Sonoran Desert National Monument and terminate at Interstate 8. During that time, we observed a heavier than usual law enforcement presence. 

During our “stake out,” we actually speculated that the heavy LEO activity was intended to monitor our operation, rather than pursue drug and human smugglers. The Border Patrol brought in a surveillance vehicle, with a retractable tower, each night, shortly after dark. Each morning, before sunrise, they would sneak it out of the area. During the daylight hours, an unmarked truck, bearing DHS licenses plates, would drive by our position. We even had a visit from the Arizona Department of Public Safety's Gang Task Force. All of our law enforcement contact was cordial and pleasant. Video 

Thursday on Fox New Channel’s “America’s Election HQ,” Pinal Co., AZ Sheriff Paul Babeu said Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is making “illegals and refugees” a priority and “not Americans.” Babeu said, “I can tell you that Donald Trump was very clear as he always has been about a secure border, about this novel concept of enforcing the law for immigration, which is not happening now. Agent’s assault rifle at checkpoint raises alarm

Robert Kimball said he was shocked when he rolled up at the Border Patrol checkpoint near Sonoita on Wednesday morning to the sight of an agent toting a large military-style gun. “I drove up and the guy that’s standing there two feet from my window has an assault rifle, a big, black assault rifle strapped across chest,” he said. On one of my recent trips through a Border Patrol checkpoint, while traveling to Sasabe, AZ, the friendly agent told me that I had a nice looking rifle, as he peered into the vehicle. We were both armed, and all was well. Some people are way too easily triggered. There was no need for alarm. I suspect Robert Kimball is suffering from PTSD, due to his lack of testicular fortitude. 

Pennsylvania Sends Thousands Of Illegal Immigrants And Non-Citizens Voter Registration Cards

Pennsylvania sent 2.5 million voter registration forms out to its registered drivers who had not yet registered to vote to implore them to sign up to cast their ballot in November. Many of those who received the registration cards turned out to not be American citizens, and therefore, are ineligible to vote. With the threat of voter fraud high, critics are furious that the state was so quick to issue registration cards without taking the time to properly verify the citizenship of the recipients. AMN

Don't get too excited, Arizonans. Historically, smuggling is a generational thing, along the Arizona - Mexico border. During the Wyatt Earp days of Tombstone, narcotics were quite popular and they were brought in from Mexico. During alcohol prohibition, smuggling also took place. The legalization/regulation of marijuana will have little affect on overall smuggling, as the drug cartels have already anticipated this move and diversified their interests to make up for any losses in revenue. The heroin epidemic, across this country, should give most people a general idea of how that's working. 

Five states will vote Nov. 8 on whether to allow recreational pot, including Arizona and California, the first two border states to consider the idea. If Arizona's ballot measure passes, pot shops would soon arise in a place that has long been a center of drug smuggling. In cities such as Nogales, smugglers are seen almost daily scaling the border fence with backpacks of weed. DM

Lawsuit Charges Environmental Impacts of High Legal, Illegal Immigration Ignored

Surviving the remnants of Hurricane Newton & our continued anti-smuggling patrols

Hurricane Newton made landfall early Tuesday morning near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico as a high-end Category 1 hurricane, and will eventually spread remnant moisture to parts of the U.S. Desert Southwest. Following Donald Trump's visit to Mexico City, he arrived in Phoenix to deliver a speech, including a ten point immigration plan. This plan will not require the passage of a labyrinth of new laws, as most of his points were already included in statutes, already on the books. Enforcement would require the dismissal and replacement of appointees from the current administration, with law abiding officials possessing the motivation to adhere to our nation's laws.

Reporter Dan Plante spent the day on the border and came back with a stunning report that first aired on August 17th. Dan says 9 out of 10 illegals are released back on the streets of San Diego. Chris Harris from the National Border Patrol Council told Dan when we ask people why they are coming here the answer is invariably the same. “And it’s not the president, they actually say Obama said it was OK to come. He said 9 out of 10 illegals that are captured are released right into the U.S., free to go on their way – all they have to do is say the magic word: “Asylum.” Harris told him that fences are effective, as long as you have the agents and the infrastructure to back it up – but they are about 2,000 agents below the minimum that Congress had determined was needed. “Through executive orders and prosecutorial discretion... Most of the people that we apprehend end up getting released into the country,” he said while expressing his frustration. Trump in Mexico: The hysteria continues: We just learned that the person paying for "los platos rotos" in Mexico is Luis Videgaray, Mexico’s finance minister. He will pay the political price, especially now that Mrs. Clinton has left President Peña-Nieto without a Democrat to share the stage with. The remnants of Hurricane Newton have passed through my neighborhood, leaving barely a half inch of rain behind. We did take advantage of the cooler weather and conducted a recon patrol of the Sonoran Desert National Monument. During that expedition, we came across some curious litter left behind by illegal aliens.

On Monday, March 7, 2016, Sgt. Thora Jaeger and myself did a brief documentary shoot for VPRO, a Dutch public television station. The subject of the show focused on food and the Mexican border. To start, we conducted a brief patrol, where we discovered evidence (litter) of illegal border crossings. During a brief interview, during the middle of the patrol, I pointed out the the unlawful act of crossing our border is only the first of many unlawful acts, most illegal aliens commit. 

Using the analogy of the Lay's potato chip marketing campaign ("Bet you can't eat just one!"), I emphasized that illegal aliens must continue breaking laws, such as identity theft, forgery, fraud and the criminal use of false identification, in order to remain in the United States. Essentially, they must live a lie and at the expense of others. The victims of identity theft should not to be dismissed as merely  “collateral damage” for the open borders agenda.

Upon completion of the reconnaissance patrol, Sgt. Jaeger and I set up camp and broke out my vintage Coleman two burner propane stove. We prepared beef brisket and homemade chili. I brought mustard and pumpernickel bread to make beef brisket sandwiches. During our meal, the presenter attempted to confront us with our party symbol and politics. I made it clear that the NSM is a racially exclusive organization and that other non-white groups (La Raza, NAACP, New Black Panthers) exist, without being labeled as "racists," by the media and biased watchdog groups. 

As far as the swastika, on the NSM flag, was concerned, I pointed out that it was the National Socialists that delayed the spread of Communism, which kept its' boot on the neck of Eastern Europe for more than half a century. The presenter also pointed out that the swastika is illegal in the Netherlands. I thought it was rather oppressive that free speech doesn't exist in much of Europe. Perhaps, that “boot on the neck” and Communism never really went away?

Throughout the filming, we attempted to put a friendly face on the NSM and were courteous and pleasant. Once again, the presenter attempted to create controversy, by making a comment about chili being "Mexican food." Lots of popular Mexican dished originated in Europe and Spain and were hybridized, in the "New World." At the end of the shoot, the videographer placed a serving of our meal on a rotating pedestal and filmed it.

Then, to my complete and total surprise, the photographer placed one of the black plastic water jugs, dropped by an illegal alien, onto the rotating pedestal and poured water over it. I guess photographers see things other people don't. It just seemed really strange to me. 

When the production was complete, we shook hands, said good bye and parted company. As we were leaving the Sonoran Desert National Monument, a pair of BLM rangers, who already knew my name, approached me. Apparently, the film crew didn't obtain a commercial filming permit to shoot this video. Since I was "just the cook," we were not further delayed or detained. 

MCSO: 2,100 ammo rounds seized, drug traffickers arrested

Maricopa County sheriff’s detectives arrested 13 suspected drug traffickers and seized 2,100 rounds of ammunition. MCSO was patrolling the interstate near mile marker 86 (between Dateland and Gila Bend) on Thursday and spotted 13 men wearing camouflage and carrying large backpacks walking in the desert. KPHO

We should prepare for the worst. The United States is dominated and ruled by the most derelict, disreputable, incompetent and increasingly corrupt group of cynical, self-serving politicians the world has seen.

A new survey by A.T. Kearney, a management consulting firm, says that 61% of Americans believe “continued immigration into the country jeopardizes the United States.” 65% of the baby boomer generation agreed with the statement, and 55% of millennials agreed. Despite this, the Obama regime, as well most presidential candidates, refuse to accept the average American viewpoint and instead enforce their elitist open borders agenda. More

Cochise County Sheriff Mark J. Dannels stated, “Once again the administration demonstrates that it does not take border security seriously. As a sheriff responsible for the safety of citizens along the border, I find it inexcusable that this administration would weaken border security by failing to put 1800 agents in the field. Full Measure: Border Control

Most Americans today say stricter border control is a top concern... Dannels: I have to say it's, a lot of cartels decide who comes across that border, and right now it's not those looking for that better way of life. It's those that actually come across to commit crimes and smuggle and victimize our citizens. I have a problem with that. WJAC

Border Patrol Agents are routinely NOT assigned to high traffic areas in an effort show lower apprehensions and intentionally mislead the American people that the border is more secure. Border Patrol No-Go Areas Mandated by DHS

Low flying aircraft over my concealed LP/OP and deadly escalation at the Malhuer Wildlife Refuge near Burns, Oregon

I spent another weekend, out in the field. This time, I found a saddle (geologic feature), west of the Table Top Wilderness Area and set up camp on a chunk of solid granite. This LP/OP overlooked the Tohono O'odham, but was well hidden, amongst ironwood trees. Shortly before dark, quail flew to the trees directly behind my tent and that's where they spent the night.

Come 1:00 am, a pack of coyotes entered my camp and engaged in a shouting match, with canine Bailey. This went on for about ten minutes, before they cleared out. By early Saturday morning, a low flying aircraft was spotted and it appeared to be doing a grid search. Then, if flew over my position, just over the trees. I photographed it and recorded the tail number. It was a 1974 Cessna that belongs to AZ Game & Fish. 

All in all, it was a good camping and bird watching trip, without encountering any drug and human smuggling. On my way out of the Sonoran Desert National Monument, I observed a BLM ranger, just south of Interstate 8. Video

From "The Last Refuge"... (a4) By the 1990’s the Hammonds were one of the very few ranchers who still owned private property adjacent to the refuge. Susie Hammond in an effort to make sense of what was going on began compiling facts about the refuge. In a hidden public record she found a study done by the FWS in 1975. The study showed the “no use” policies of the FWS on the refuge were causing the wildlife to leave the refuge and move to private property. Full Article

Oregon standoff leader asks holdouts at refuge to go home

In the statement, Bundy asked the federal government to allow the people remaining at the refuge to depart without being prosecuted. Addressing those still holding out, Bundy's statement said: "Please stand down. Go home and hug your families. This fight is now in the courts. Please go home." Bear in mind, the last group of people that left the refuge were allegedly ambushed and shot by police, leaving one wounded and another dead. Fox 

The question is, why the sudden change of heart? Bundy seemed intent upon the protest lasting until the two Oregon ranchers who were re-jailed, and upon whose part they were protesting were released from prison. Did seeing his friend get murdered in cold blood and being arrested cause the change of heart? That’s one way for Federal Agents to force a surrender- shooting your friend right in front of you! What started as a community protest–over the extended sentencing of father and son ranchers Dwight and Steven Hammond for two cases of arson on public lands–has morphed into another Bundy showdown where sovereign citizen rhetoric, revisionist history, and self-identified militia converge. Never, it seemed, have two groups of people looked at the same conflagration and come to such different conclusions. The Hammonds’ fires, part of an obscure beef between ranchers and BLM, might seem tangential — not the real center of a national news story about the Bundys’ hostage-free, would-be armed rebellion. Why was the "Occupy Wall Street" movement permitted to turn into "Occupy Every Street," from New York to California? They also stayed in the park after posted closing hours. They were hailed as heroes by celebrities and politicians. Why is it that Black Lives Matter can burn multiple city blocks, loot, call for the murders of police officers and infringe upon the rights of others, trying to go about their daily lives  and nothing happens? But... White men, peacefully exercising their Second Amendment rights, while occupying an unlocked wildlife refuge center in protest of the BLM and its abusive practices... They must be stopped, killed and/or jailed.

Conflicting information is emerging over what happened after a well-known member of the militia group occupying a nature preserve in Oregon died in a shootout with federal agents. The group’s spokesman had tried to run a roadblock before he was killed. Robert “LaVoy” Finicum, died Tuesday evening after a confrontation with federal law enforcement at a roadblock north of Burns, Oregon. RT

Remember, the World is watching. Show us that the use of deadly force was appropriate and that the militia presented a credible threat. In the week prior to Thanksgiving, we welcomed our out of town visitors and patrolled the Sonoran Desert National Monument, south of Interstate 8. We bumped a spotter off his hill and managed to pick up his tracks, the next day. The goal is to keep the hilltop spotters “out of play” and the only way to do that is with boots on the ground. Thanks to our border operation, I was spared witnessing the ungrateful masses, at this year's annual F.O.R. Food Bank Thanksgiving meal distribution event, in Maricopa, AZ. Year after year, I've watched people cut the line, complain, argue and act uncivilized, over a $6.00 turkey, a box of stuffing and a can of green beans. For the past week, I've been spending most of my time in the Sonoran Desert National Monument, approximately two miles north of the Tohono O’odham Indian Reservation. While positioned on LP/OP, a Border Patrol vehicle approached and kept going. There was some movement, about one mile to the south. Less than an hour later, the agent returned, with an illegal alien in custody. Three others were also found, earlier.
