Cartel Country Happenings, Arizona Monsoon Season Arrives and the NSM July Update

For months, multiple media organizations were appearing to be making the same border story circuit, from Brownsville, TX to San Diego, CA. Finally, we got so see one of the finished products of all that borderland travel. On April 1, 2017, I was visited by a small team of journalists, who bivouacked with me, south of Interstate 8, in the Sonoran Desert National Monument. It's rare that reporters will come out to the Contested Zone and spend a night, under the stars.

Even more rare was cooking bratwurst over an open fire with photojournalists. By far, this was one of the most laid back and relaxing media operation I ever took part in. More often, than not, the leftist controlled media will leave their objective eyes behind and push the official open borders narrative. I'm accustomed to dealing with hostile and adversarial reporters, so when I have a relaxing media experience, it's like a huge breath of fresh air. We also enjoyed some downtime target shooting, with Daisy Red Ryder BB guns and not one eye was put out.

In other news, I was recently appointed as NSM Weekend's new co-host. As a member and producer on the NSM Media team, it was my pleasure to take on this additional responsibility. Although I may be updating my blog, less often, you can catch me live and in archived broadcasts. NSM Media

A 9-Day Journey Along the Most Controversial Strip of Land in Trump's America

We’re about 65 miles north of the border, but Hughes says this is a prime migration corridor—particularly for migrants running drugs for the cartels. You could call Hughes border militia, but that’s only partially true. He regularly attends National Socialist Movement rallies around the country, and although the group is clear that it regards America’s European—that is, white—heritage as sacrosanct, it is not directly involved with any border militias. Smugglers leave woman dangling from border fence

According to the U.S. Border Patrol, agents patrolling the area witnessed two smugglers attempting to lower the woman into the United States from Mexico using a harness and hoist rope. “When agents approached, the woman attempted to climb back over the fence into Mexico but the smugglers left her hanging,” the agency said. President Donald Trump’s executive orders to increase enforcement and follow existing immigration law is leading some illegal aliens to self-deport. In a report by the Pueblo Chieftain, sources told the local newspaper that illegal immigrants, fearful of being prosecuted and deported by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), are self-deporting primarily back to Mexico. Federal agent in Tucson gun-smuggling case: ‘Every family member had a .50 cal’

Joe Santiago Valles, a Tucson police officer from 2012 to 2014, was sentenced July 6 in U.S. District Court in Tucson to 6½ years in federal prison after pleading guilty to 30 counts of falsifying federal firearm records, identity theft and witness tampering. The prosecution of alleged co-conspirator Timothy Veninga, who was a federally licensed firearms dealer, is ongoing. Tucson

It’s an indication of how utterly distorted the Left’s worldview has become. An article appearing in today’s New York Times has emblazoned across its top a photograph of a forlorn-looking man, sitting on the edge of a bed, his eyes downcast. Standing across the room from him is a young girl who looks sympathetically at the man — her father — as if to say, “It’s OK, Papa, maybe next year.” More

My Turn: The SB 1070 lesson that La Raza forgot

Lawlessness leads to more lawlessness. Prior to SB 1070, the 2004 sanctuary city policy of Phoenix was corrosive to our quality of life. It made working conditions for police officers lethal and was literally killing our Hispanic community partners. Before SB 1070, the lawless choices of illegal aliens cost six Phoenix police officers their lives and injected serious life-changing injuries to seven others. More

Judicial Watch is sounding the alarm on a new policy the Phoenix Police Department has just imposed on its officers, forbidding them from asking the people they arrest about their immigration status and prohibiting them from notifying the federal government when they arrest illegals. State law expressly allows police to ask these questions, and the Supreme Court affirmed that law way back in 2012, but no matter: More

If our lives are going to continue being unfulfilled and boring, perhaps we do need some sort of short-term violent chaos incorporated into them, to make them more palatable." -Chuck Palahniuk

Hey, if you want less traffic, less garbage and cleaner air, secure those borders and remove illegal aliens

Our week-long blockading border operation has concluded, without major incident. Volunteers from Massachusetts, Iowa, Florida, California and my own neighborhood participated in a "camp-out" intended to prevent drug and human smugglers from using a series of well known trails that pass through the Sonoran Desert National Monument and terminate at Interstate 8. During that time, we observed a heavier than usual law enforcement presence.

During our “stake out,” we actually speculated that the heavy LEO activity was intended to monitor our operation, rather than pursue drug and human smugglers. The Border Patrol brought in a surveillance vehicle, with a retractable tower, each night, shortly after dark. Each morning, before sunrise, they would sneak it out of the area. During the daylight hours, an unmarked truck, bearing DHS licenses plates, would drive by our position. We even had a visit from the Arizona Department of Public Safety's Gang Task Force. All of our law enforcement contact was cordial and pleasant. Video

Thursday on Fox New Channel’s “America’s Election HQ,” Pinal Co., AZ Sheriff Paul Babeu said Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is making “illegals and refugees” a priority and “not Americans.” Babeu said, “I can tell you that Donald Trump was very clear as he always has been about a secure border, about this novel concept of enforcing the law for immigration, which is not happening now. Agent’s assault rifle at checkpoint raises alarm

Robert Kimball said he was shocked when he rolled up at the Border Patrol checkpoint near Sonoita on Wednesday morning to the sight of an agent toting a large military-style gun. “I drove up and the guy that’s standing there two feet from my window has an assault rifle, a big, black assault rifle strapped across chest,” he said. More

On one of my recent trips through a Border Patrol checkpoint, while traveling to Sasabe, AZ, the friendly agent told me that I had a nice looking rifle, as he peered into the vehicle. We were both armed, and all was well. Some people are way too easily triggered. There was no need for alarm. I suspect Robert Kimball is suffering from PTSD, due to his lack of testicular fortitude.

Pennsylvania Sends Thousands Of Illegal Immigrants And Non-Citizens Voter Registration Cards

Pennsylvania sent 2.5 million voter registration forms out to its registered drivers who had not yet registered to vote to implore them to sign up to cast their ballot in November. Many of those who received the registration cards turned out to not be American citizens, and therefore, are ineligible to vote. With the threat of voter fraud high, critics are furious that the state was so quick to issue registration cards without taking the time to properly verify the citizenship of the recipients. AMN

Don't get too excited, Arizonans. Historically, smuggling is a generational thing, along the Arizona - Mexico border. During the Wyatt Earp days of Tombstone, narcotics were quite popular and they were brought in from Mexico. During alcohol prohibition, smuggling also took place. The legalization/regulation of marijuana will have little affect on overall smuggling, as the drug cartels have already anticipated this move and diversified their interests to make up for any losses in revenue. The heroin epidemic, across this country, should give most people a general idea of how that's working.

Five states will vote Nov. 8 on whether to allow recreational pot, including Arizona and California, the first two border states to consider the idea. If Arizona's ballot measure passes, pot shops would soon arise in a place that has long been a center of drug smuggling. In cities such as Nogales, smugglers are seen almost daily scaling the border fence with backpacks of weed. DM

A nation, with open borders and uncontrolled immigration... It will be a ‘new America’ but it will no longer be the United States of America. It’s coming as surely as the dawn. Take a look at Los Angeles. Over 100 languages dominate its school systems. Millions of kids subsist off food stamps, free breakfasts and lunches and Section 8 Housing—all paid for by American taxpayers. More

Lawsuit Charges Environmental Impacts of High Legal, Illegal Immigration Ignored

(Of course, it makes perfect sense.)The plaintiffs charge that the failure to abide by NEPA has “harmed and overwhelmed” communities with: “damage to air quality; increasing urban sprawl; increasing demand for water; increasing water pollution; exacerbated traffic congestion; school overcrowding; loss of green space, farmland, forests and wildlife; and other non-renewable resources."

Moreover, they argue, massive illegal immigration has caused: “the destruction of native species and habitats by trampling over the native vegetation; garbage dumping on a massive scale; water pollution; fires for the purposes of heat, cooking, or to distract Border Patrol agents (many of which turn out of control and destroy vast swaths of naive land); not to mention the destruction of property, livestock, and the peaceful enjoyment of personal property.” NumbersUSA

“Society will develop a new kind of servitude which covers the surface of society with a network of complicated rules, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate. It does not tyrannise but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd.” ― Alexis de Tocqueville

In the highest places of government and finance, we'll find traitors making profit from human misery via drug & human smuggling

Freelance photographer, Kieran Kesner, has been visiting and observing our border operations inside the “Contested Zone.” Today, he'll be working on an assignment for the Boston Globe. The assignment includes tagging along with the Department of Homeland Security in search of counterfeit NFL merchandise, in front of the upcoming Super Bowl in Glendale, AZ. Your tax dollars, ignoring border security in favor of protecting the NFL's financial interests. Kesner

The helicopters and X-ray machines are from Tucson and Nogales, some of the busiest spots in the nation for the smuggling of drugs and immigrants. Kerlikowske said Arizona's border with Mexico still has adequate security while some equipment is used in Glendale for the Super Bowl. THB

Barely an hour after breaking camp... On Sunday, Jan. 18 at around 2 pm., West Desert Task Force agents found 19 bundles of marijuana during a patrol near Vekol Valley, Ariz. The abandoned contraband was worth over $444,000. Anyone can report suspicious activity anonymously and toll-free by calling Border Patrol at 1-877-972-7435. Link

During last weekend's recon, canine Bailey and I investigated the areas around the abandoned Vekol Ranch, Antelope Peak and the Lava Flow North Trailhead in the Table Top Wilderness Area. Video

The video that Guardian UK shot of December's “Operation Ditch Cricket” has been posted. It's amazing, what a $5000 camera can do. At least they just showed us, without any open borders commentary. Here it is, draw your own conclusions kind of journalism.

Migrants, Minutemen and dead bodies on the Mexico-Arizona border – video

In Arizona, on the front line of United States' border with Mexico, we hear from the families split up as a result of deportation; the unofficial armed border guards; and charities providing food and water to desperate migrants. While border controls tighten, people take more extreme and dangerous routes to get into the US. In 2014, alone the remains of up to 130 migrants have been recovered. Video

Lou Dobbs: Prior to this, Mexican citizens (and OTMs) would have to return to their country of origin to obtain documentation. Now, a criminal foreign national (and I mean BAD crimes, murder sex trafficking etc) will be able to get a new identity on this side of the fence. Video

One Thing Migrant Smugglers Can't Do Without: Big U.S. Banks

Although immigration has topped the political agenda in the U.S., neither the White House nor Congress has targeted the role banks play in financing smuggling. On Nov. 20, President Barack Obama issued an executive order to protect from deportation undocumented immigrants whose children are U.S. citizens or who arrived before 2010 as minors. Full Article

Lately, I've been hearing the term "sensible immigration reform" used in the media. Sensible would be to undo all of Barack Obama's illegal executive orders and deport ALL of the illegal foreigners in the country. This is our country, not theirs and we owe them nothing. Let them go back and fix the cesspools they have made of their own home nations. Real immigration reform consists of eliminating birthright citizenship, implementing E-Verify, and enforcing the laws that are already on the books.

There has never been a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematical) shortage in USA. Here is a list of companies we've confirmed are "Exporting America." These are U.S. companies either sending American jobs overseas, or choosing to employ cheap overseas labor, instead of American workers. CNN

The correlation between the plunge into poverty level and the overrunning of America by millions of nonwhite invaders from central and South America is clear. Contrary to the leftists’ claim that immigration will “boost” the economy, the economic and social chaos which characterizes the Third World is moving en masse to America along with the invaders. Which raises the question: if illegal immigrants “boost the economy,” why have they not done so in their own countries? Link

One doesn't have to think why bank executives aren't being sentenced to prison terms, nor their assets seized. "Even the industry’s own investigators say banks can and should do more to shut down the smugglers’ monetary pipelines." At best, the facilitators get a little slap on the wrist, if ever punished at all. Neither Republicans, nor Democrats have enforced immigration policies since Operation Wetback in 1954. Both parties want open borders, but for different reasons.

Democracy is the political regime in which the citizen entrusts the public interests to those men to whom he would never entrust his private interests. Nicolás Gómez Dávila (“Don Colacho”), Aphorism #1,088

Wednesday's "Goober of the Day" and the continuing and unmitigated failure of our government to secure our borders and protect our people

On 07/31/2013 (Wednesday) A recon was conducted at Lost Horse Peak, south of Interstate 8 near the Vekol Valley drug smuggling corridor. The drug and human smuggling problem that's way too close to home, continues.

Shortly before sunset, this Mexican walked into Camp "X", looking for some water and a place to charge his cell phone. He claimed to have spent five days walking across the desert. So I may stall for time to get a Border Patrol response, I humored him with those small requests. We sat on the tailgate of my truck and had ourselves an enlightening conversation (Mostly in Spanish).

I learned that he was from Tijuana and that he worked as a mechanic. He was most interested in stealing one of those jobs Americans won't do. To buy us a little more time, we decided to invite him to stay for dinner. We also told him that the food was on the way and would arrive shortly. Some ladies would be making this "delivery". His phone wasn't charged enough and I gladly plugged it back in for him. Meanwhile, we waited and continued to talk.

Once the Border Patrol unit arrived, he calmly sat on the tailgate and made no attempt to run away. He produced a photo ID and was taken into custody, without incident. Minus his belt and shoe laces, "our guy" is sitting in the back, asking the Border Patrol agents for food. He really thought we were having a picnic.

Our lengthy, but very successful desert operation concluded shortly before 1:00 am on Sunday, August 4, 2013. At that time, we departed our area of operation. We shall return, shortly with a modified and expanded patrol.

Communist Chinese Illegal Immigrant With Expired Visa Flies Into DC and Defaces US National Monuments!

WASHINGTON – A woman charged with defacing the Washington National Cathedral had a soda can of green paint with her when she was arrested, and she has been linked to at least four other incidents of vandalism, including at the Lincoln Memorial, according to prosecutors and court documents.

The woman, who has a Chinese passport, arrived in Washington a few days ago and was traveling on an expired visa, prosecutors said. Police said she had no fixed address but that she told officers she lived in Los Angeles. She refused to give her phone number, email address or home address, police said, and a language barrier complicated initial efforts to interview her. Full Article

Immigrant activists in Ariz. denied humanitarian parole

Nine activists in federal custody in Arizona for more than a week after attempting to cross the border from Mexico into the U.S. in protest of American immigration policy have apparently been denied requests to remain in the country on humanitarian grounds, organizers said Thursday.

Domenic Powell, a spokesman with the National Immigrant Youth Alliance, said the group is still awaiting formal notification from the U.S. government but it appears the requests have been denied, and they are now seeking asylum based on "credible fear" of persecution should they return to Mexico. Who the Hell do these people think they are? I say, throw the book at them!

Illegal Alien Rapes, Beats, & Kills Elderly Woman – Found Naked, Passed Out On Top Of Her Corpse

Another horrific rape and murder committed by an illegal alien that the Jewish owned liberal lame stream media is going to completely ignore. "Our bond with Europe is a bond of race and not of political ideology. It is the European race we must preserve, political progress will follow. Racial strength is vital, politics a luxury. If the White race is ever seriously threatened, it may then be time for us to take our part in its protection, to fight side by side with the English, French and Germans, but not with one against the other for our mutual destruction." ~Charles Lindbergh (1902-1974)

Mother's Day 2013: Servicing trail cameras in the desert and the darkest side of illegal immigration, most people never know

We put in a long day on Mother's Day Sunday. Our objective was to service several trail cameras that have been clicking away and documenting unchecked drug and human smuggling for the past several months. Our first stop was along a trail in the Barry M. Goldwater Air Force Range. This trail has been used so much that the smugglers have worn "steps" into the sides of the hills. The trail is a couple of miles from the road, therefore, law enforcement doesn't bother to attempt any sort of interdiction or enforcement.

The smugglers get a free pass, here. Even our military installations aren't secure because of our broken border. We have rampant drug and human smuggling taking place right under our military's noses. Keep in mind that the U.S. Government is perhaps, the biggest drug dealer on the planet.

The second camera that was due to be checked turned out to have been discovered and smashed to bits by the smugglers. This is also a very hot trail and law enforcement could care less. Due to time restrictions and an extended travel time, we were unable to reach the third camera on our list. It was time to make our way back north and towards our next stop. UDA Slideshow #1 #2

The human face of illegal trafficking into US

William Webb said it well: "As Homeland Security concurs, we have absolutely no control over who enters this country any more, prostitutes, terrorists, slaves. What is the federal government doing with the billions they are throwing away in the name of homeland security? Financing lavish banquets, flying back and forth all over the world, padding their fat bank accounts, getting all the bennies, and the federal government wants to cut the elderly's meager SS payments? We're all getting screwed by the federal government!"

As we were heading towards Ajo on Pipeline Road, something strange happened. A US Border Patrol vehicle was approaching us. Normally, agents make contact with people, especially in trucks. Believe it or not, the US Border Patrol appeared to have run away from us. Perhaps, this agent was busy doing a "side job" and didn't want to be bothered. Time and again, we learn that the cartels have infiltrated law enforcement and are working against the public interest.

Immigrations and Customs Enforcement issued the following statement on the case: "As part of the ongoing criminal investigation and in addition to the criminal arrests, ICE special agents identified and administratively arrested 50 individuals believed to be in the U.S. illegally. Those arrested include 39 males from Mexico, nine males from Honduras, and two females from Mexico. Those administratively arrested will be placed into removal proceedings and their cases will be adjudicated in immigration court."

When a female passenger complained she was feeling ill, Rivera-Rico allegedly pulled off the road, took out a .38-caliber handgun, and shot Marce Judith Martinez-Camacho in the head. Rivera-Rico and another male passenger then allegedly removed the victim from the car, dragged her into a ditch, fired additional shots, and drove away leaving the body by the side of the highway. Not long after observing the Border Patrol skedaddle, some of Sheriff Dupnik's deputies with the Pima County Sheriff's Office stopped us for a short visit. The deputy covering the passenger side of the vehicle asked me if I had any weapons. I advised him of the AR-15 in front of me. We even shared some of our photographs. Soon, our little chat was over and we were on our way to the next stop.

The National Socialist Movement in Arizona shifts into high gear following our national meeting in Atlanta.

At N.S.M. Arizona, we never rest. Upon my return from our very successful National meeting and rally in Atlanta, GA, I hit the ground running and began to fill up the calendar. We have the following items on our agenda:

On Thursday, May, 2, 2013, I will be the guest on Mike Harris' "Short End of the Stick" via the Rense Radio Network. This is the first anniversary of the J.T. Ready massacre in Gilbert, AZ. For those that are new here, J.T. Ready was a former N.S.M. member, founder of the US Border Guard (NGO) and was running for Pinal County Sheriff at the time of his death.

I was also J.T.'s campaign committee chairman. As with most "official stories", there are always unanswered questions. I'm sure we will be diving into some of those. To listen: Click Here Time: 1:00-3:00 pm Pacific/AZ time

Border Operation: On May 3-5, 2013, there will be a border operation taking place somewhere in or around the notorious Vekol Valley portion of the Sonoran Desert National Monument. This is a mufti-organizational event and more information is available, upon request.

Despite the US Border Patrol being virtually "neutered", that has not stopped the N.S.M. from patrolling the desert, repelling illegal aliens, disrupting drug trafficking and gathering information on drug & human smuggling, using various means.

May 5th is also known as "Cinco de Mayo". This bogus holiday has become nothing more than an excuse for people to drink and act foolish. The N.S.M. has changed that. For the past few years, we have renamed this abomination of a holiday and is now known as "Report an Illegal Day". To celebrate, we have a special flier that we like to pass out. It's available for download. Please print and distribute liberally.

New Arizona Law: Guns From Buybacks Can't Be Destroyed

Gov. Jan Brewer signed the legislation late Monday "preventing local governments from melting down the weapons obtained from these popular civic events. Before the new law, the state had allowed such firearms to be destroyed," Full Article

Of course, the knee jerkers on the left already have their bowels in an uproar over this legislation becoming law. They are claiming that this puts those dangerous and evil guns back on the streets. Of course, this is not the case. These firearms will be sold to dealers who sell them to legitimate and law abiding buyers.

What really bugs me is that these are the same leftists that have no problem with permitting known illegal alien gang members to remain in the country, despite being criminals. What would you rather have? Law abiding gun owners or lawless foreign thugs out robbing, raping and killing?

Gang Members Eligible for Gang of Eight Amnesty

At first glance, the Gang of Eight’s amnesty bill appears to crack down on members of criminal street gangs. In fact, the bill adds aliens who are members of “criminal street gangs” to the list of those who are inadmissible and deportable under current law, and even contains a provision that explicitly excludes convicted gang members from gaining amnesty under the bill. (see Sec. 3701, p. 604-608) FullArticle

The More Illegal Immigrants That Go On Food Stamps The More Money JP Morgan Makes

Recently uncovered documents prove that the Obama administration has been working with the Mexican government to increase the number of illegal immigrants on food stamps, and when more illegal immigrants go on food stamps JP Morgan makes more money.  As you will read about below, JP Morgan has made at least 560 million dollars processing Electronic Benefits Transfer cards.  Each month, JP Morgan makes between $.31 and $2.30 for every single person on food stamps (and that does not even include things like ATM fees, etc). We already know that approximately 57-61% of immigrants, both legal and illegal end up on some form of welfare. With the opening of the immigration floodgates via amnesty, we can expect some 50-100 million illiterate Third World people bum rushing every public trough in the land. They're going to do it, so be prepared. Life as you known it in the United States is coming to an end.

“Everyone knows that, in spite of the fact that the air was never as full of theories of liberty and wild declarations of "rights," there has been a steady curtailment of "personal freedom." Instead of being socialized, the people, under a cover of socialistic phrases, are being brought under an unaccustomed bondage to the state; laws of every kind are hedging upon the harmless liberties of the people. A steady tendency toward systematization, every phase of the tendency based upon some very learnedly stated "principle," has set in, and curiously enough, when the investigator pursues his way to the authoritative center of these movements for the regulation of the people's life, he finds Jews in power!” --Henry Ford

After Action Report: Cable Television Channel Documentary... National Socialist Movement Border Operations

On July 29 & 30, 2012, a film crew from a cable television channel arrived in Arizona to make a documentary about the National Socialist Movement's anti drug and human smuggling operations in the desert. On the afternoon prior to the scheduled film shoot, ST Thora A. Jaeger and myself established an obscure base camp in the infamous Vekol Valley, south on Interstate 8 in the Sonoran Desert National Monument.

Within a couple of hours, it began to rain. It's monsoon season and thunderstorms, accompanied by strong winds and dust, are quite common. After a bombardment of rain and wind, our tent was "flattened" and beyond use. That makes the second tent that has succumbed to the elements during our desert operations this year. Despite this situation, we waited out the weather and met the film crew at the crack of dawn.

As we were about to commence filming, a Bureau of Land Management ranger pulled up and visited with us. The ranger was familiar to me (from previous operations and contact) and we talked for a few minutes before he resumed his patrol. This ranger's "beat" covers approximately 450,000 acres of hostile territory. At that point, we proceeded to investigate the drainage culverts that run under the highway a couple of hundred yards to our west.

I went through some of our normal operating procedures and conducted a "tour" of the Vekol Valley drug corridor. I was made aware that the film crew brought body armor for protection when they posed for pictures at the illegal immigration warning sign at the entrance to the Sonoran Desert National Monument. That was a first. It's certainly better to be safe, than sorry.

Prior to the rain that fell the night before, I discovered fresh foot prints in the wash approximately 200 yards to the west of our camp. We explored the wash in search of evidence of drug and human smuggling. Audio recording became difficult due to the buzzing of thousands of cicadas that were living in the mesquite and ironwood trees that lined the wash's banks.

We pushed forward and checked washes for the remainder of our patrol. As usual, we found water bottles, clothing, burlap sacks and shoes that illegal aliens discarded without any regard to our nation's environment. I have always had serious issues with litterbugs. One of the last things we came across was a pair of worn out shoes and several hundred spent 7.62 x 39mm and 9mm shell casings. The casings were probably left behind by target shooters, who didn't take the time to recover their brass. Currently, the B.L. M. has a smoking ,open fire and target shooting ban in force due to seasonal fire dangers. The restriction notices are posted in English and I'm sure illegal aliens would disregard them, even if they were in Spanish.

Being as busy as we were, Sunday went by rather fast. One of the things about documentary production is having to repeat shots and deal with the camera angles. Although this operation didn't run like one of our regular patrols, it provided invaluable experience in creating media productions that we will be able to use ourselves, in the future. Our first day ended without us finding any bad guys or drugs. Needless to say, desert operations are tiring no matter what the circumstances. We ate light and sacrificed sleep to make this operation happen.

It rained again on Sunday night. It rained enough to cause some minor flooding and lots of mud. On Monday morning, we woke up before 4:00 AM and started production before the sun was up. We decided to climb a hill to our west overlooking the Vekol Valley and establish an observation post (O.P.), The humidity was very high and after only a few minutes of walking, we all were soaked with sweat. My nylon armor carrier and added weight of 275 rounds of ammunition significantly added to my perspiration.

With all of the recent monsoon rain, the desert has come alive. The ground was covered with thousands of brown centipedes measuring 4 - 6 inches in length. Upon reaching the summit of the hill we intended to use as an O.P., we discovered we would be sharing it with swarms of black flying ants. They were more than a bit annoying. Fortunately, they were not biting ants. Always wear a hat and bring a shemagh or bandana.

I used binoculars to scan several square miles of the valley below. I also had a great view of Interstate 8. The climb up was steep and canine Bailey was ready for a break, too. After collecting our wind, we resumed filming. I described how drug and human smugglers use the same O.P.'s to direct and oversee their illegal traffic.

Using these hills, drug smugglers can signal their crews of "mules" on the ground as to when it is safe to pass, undetected by law enforcement officers. Sometimes, these positions are fortified with rock walls and are stocked with car batteries, cell phone chargers, food, cigarettes and dirty magazines. These are some of the things we've found on past patrols. Like in the days of the "Old West", the hills are still filled with bandits and criminals.

We descended the hill and returned to our vehicles to hydrate and plan our next objective. We decided to patrol an old road that runs parallel to Interstate 8. This area is a common place for load vehicles to pick up bales of marijuana from the human mules that walk it here from Mexico.

After traveling a couple of miles, I noticed that one of the cattle ponds (often called "tanks") to my south was full of water. Normally, these features are dry for much of the year. It became apparent, that illegal aliens won't be dying of thirst for a while as water was more than plentiful. Upon closer investigation, we discovered lots of water bottles and a couple of backpacks on the banks of the pond that covered several acres. People had been there.

After shooting a few more scenes of me driving up to the pond, the film crew determined that they had enough material to work with and we mutually decided that it was time to conclude the patrol and return home. Just before leaving the area of operation (A.O.), a U.S. Border Patrol agent drove up and was curious about our activity. After speaking for a few minutes, the agent went on about his business and we departed. Report & Photos

Pinal County: Ancient archeological site in potential jeopardy. . . .

I have decided to proceed with a historic preserva-tion project as a result of development that has become dangerously close to a local archeological site. I have decided to call it the Pinal County Petroglyth Preservation Project(P.C.P.P.P.). My first step was to send descriptions and photos to the local Indian communities as well as to state representatives. The media will be next.

Hopefully, somebody might just listen. If a small invertebrate can stop a dam project, I would like to think I can stop a few careless fools and one greedy developer.

I took another hike past the construction site and into the box canyon today. I noticed some new fence was erected. Native plants were destroyed in the process. Apparently, my presence got the attention of one construction worker. He got off his machine and stared at me while I took pictures.

I am working under the assumption that these people are fully aware of the archeological significance of this area and may resort to any means necessary to protect their interests. I mean that they may be willing to destroy this petroglyth site as a means to their end.

The text of the emails I sent to state legislators and other agencies:

If you and the other elected officials of the State of Arizona have time to decide on a state horse,(I think it should be Mr. Ed because he is smart and can talk.) you may try to find a little time to save a potentially endangered Native American archeological site. Currently, a large construction project is coming dangerously close to petroglyths not far from my home. Vandals and some "not so bright" prospectors are also carelessly damaging this endangered place of historic value.

Shortly after moving to Thunderbird Farms, I came across some petroglyths in a box canyon in the Haley Hills. That was over 17 years ago. This ancient art can be seen in the wash that runs parallel to (censored) Rd. Although this location is off the reservation, I believe it to be of historic importance and it should be preserved and protected. The above mentioned construction project may potentially threaten this site.

In addition to development, it appears that people have been intentionally defacing the rocks in this small canyon. I have included a map and photographs of this site. Hopefully, in the not too distant future, steps can and will be taken to preserve this site.
My message to the “amateur prospectors”:

An amateur prospector(s) who doesn’t know shit about geology, has carelessly busted this area up. I happen to have a B.S. degree in geology and am absolutely positive that there are no economically important minerals in this Early Proterozoic Granitic rock. The metamorphics on the other side of the hill have no economic value either. The breccias that lay unconformably on top of these intrusives might make good fill or cement if it was close to a good road. Otherwise the rocks here are worthless. There is no gold there! Don’t waste your time looking or sweating over this site!

If there was gold there, I would already have made some grills or buried it out in my back yard. I had more than 17 years to find it.

Maricopa: Teel Road. . . Hidden Valley, AZ. . . . A.K.A. “The Valley of Death”

This blog is for all of you pet and animal lovers out there. You really need to know what is happening just a few blocks away from your homes. I want you to know that many of your friends, relatives and neighbors are some of the lowest forms of life on Earth. This discovery really pisses me off. Read on and you will see why I think this way.

During one of my hikes/illegal alien patrols in the wash just north of Teel Rd. and west of Warren Rd, I discovered a foul stench in this wash littered with dead animals. Included in this morbid smorgasbord were dogs, sheep and horses in various states of decay. Many of these creatures were at one time beloved pets that once belonged to people that live in this(my) neighborhood. That nice friendly couple or family next door whose animals suddenly disappeared, may very well have been involved in this repulsive act.

When I saw that dead horse laying out in the wash with a pile of garbage, I thought of the Bonefield family across the street from my home. As you may recall from one of my previous blogs, I watched their horse die a slow death out in the blistering sun last summer.

It disgusts me to see so many of these animals tossed out with the trash to rot out in the desert. I’m appalled that many of the culprits are people we think of as friendly pet loving neighbors. As far as I’m concerned, they are the scum of the Earth. The so-called Nazi “Death Camp” operators were more humane, neat and tidy than this and are worthy of more respect.

With so many dead things to play with, Ed Gien would love living in western Pinal County.

Edward Theodore "Ed" Gein

August 27, 1906 – July 26, 1984) was an American murderer and grave robber. His crimes, which he committed around his hometown of Plainfield, Wisconsin, garnered widespread notoriety after authorities discovered Gein had exhumed corpses from local graveyards and fashioned trophies and keepsakes from their bones and skin.

After police found body parts in Gein's house in 1957, he confessed to killing two women, Mary Hogan, a tavern owner, in 1954, and Bernice Worden, a Plainfield hardware store owner, in 1957. Initially found unfit to stand trial, following confinement in a mental health facility, he was tried in 1968 for the murder of Worden and sentenced to life imprisonment, which he spent in a mental hospital.

If Gein was guilty of murdering only the person he was convicted of killing, he would not technically meet the definition of a serial killer, though his case influenced the creation of several fictional serial killers, including Norman Bates from Psycho, Jame Gumb from The Silence of the Lambs, and Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

In a more perfect world, I would like to see these low-life scumbag people laying out in that wash with their eye balls picked out of their skulls just like their pets. They truly deserve it.
