Cartel Country Happenings, Arizona Monsoon Season Arrives and the NSM July Update

For months, multiple media organizations were appearing to be making the same border story circuit, from Brownsville, TX to San Diego, CA. Finally, we got so see one of the finished products of all that borderland travel. On April 1, 2017, I was visited by a small team of journalists, who bivouacked with me, south of Interstate 8, in the Sonoran Desert National Monument. It's rare that reporters will come out to the Contested Zone and spend a night, under the stars. 

Even more rare was cooking bratwurst over an open fire with photojournalists. By far, this was one of the most laid back and relaxing media operation I ever took part in. More often, than not, the leftist controlled media will leave their objective eyes behind and push the official open borders narrative. I'm accustomed to dealing with hostile and adversarial reporters, so when I have a relaxing media experience, it's like a huge breath of fresh air. We also enjoyed some downtime target shooting, with Daisy Red Ryder BB guns and not one eye was put out.

Smugglers leave woman dangling from border fence

President Donald Trump’s executive orders to increase enforcement and follow existing immigration law is leading some illegal aliens to self-deport. In a report by the Pueblo Chieftain, sources told the local newspaper that illegal immigrants, fearful of being prosecuted and deported by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), are self-deporting primarily back to Mexico. Joe Santiago Valles, a Tucson police officer from 2012 to 2014, was sentenced July 6 in U.S. District Court in Tucson to 6½ years in federal prison after pleading guilty to 30 counts of falsifying federal firearm records, identity theft and witness tampering. An article appearing in today’s New York Times has emblazoned across its top a photograph of a forlorn-looking man, sitting on the edge of a bed, his eyes downcast. Standing across the room from him is a young girl who looks sympathetically at the man — her father — as if to say, “It’s OK, Papa, maybe next year.” More 

My Turn: The SB 1070 lesson that La Raza forgot

Judicial Watch is sounding the alarm on a new policy the Phoenix Police Department has just imposed on its officers, forbidding them from asking the people they arrest about their immigration status and prohibiting them from notifying the federal government when they arrest illegals. State law expressly allows police to ask these questions, and the Supreme Court affirmed that law way back in 2012, but no matter: More

Hey, if you want less traffic, less garbage and cleaner air, secure those borders and remove illegal aliens

Our week-long blockading border operation has concluded, without major incident. Volunteers from Massachusetts, Iowa, Florida, California and my own neighborhood participated in a "camp-out" intended to prevent drug and human smugglers from using a series of well known trails that pass through the Sonoran Desert National Monument and terminate at Interstate 8. During that time, we observed a heavier than usual law enforcement presence. 

During our “stake out,” we actually speculated that the heavy LEO activity was intended to monitor our operation, rather than pursue drug and human smugglers. The Border Patrol brought in a surveillance vehicle, with a retractable tower, each night, shortly after dark. Each morning, before sunrise, they would sneak it out of the area. During the daylight hours, an unmarked truck, bearing DHS licenses plates, would drive by our position. We even had a visit from the Arizona Department of Public Safety's Gang Task Force. All of our law enforcement contact was cordial and pleasant. Video 

Thursday on Fox New Channel’s “America’s Election HQ,” Pinal Co., AZ Sheriff Paul Babeu said Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is making “illegals and refugees” a priority and “not Americans.” Babeu said, “I can tell you that Donald Trump was very clear as he always has been about a secure border, about this novel concept of enforcing the law for immigration, which is not happening now. Agent’s assault rifle at checkpoint raises alarm

Robert Kimball said he was shocked when he rolled up at the Border Patrol checkpoint near Sonoita on Wednesday morning to the sight of an agent toting a large military-style gun. “I drove up and the guy that’s standing there two feet from my window has an assault rifle, a big, black assault rifle strapped across chest,” he said. On one of my recent trips through a Border Patrol checkpoint, while traveling to Sasabe, AZ, the friendly agent told me that I had a nice looking rifle, as he peered into the vehicle. We were both armed, and all was well. Some people are way too easily triggered. There was no need for alarm. I suspect Robert Kimball is suffering from PTSD, due to his lack of testicular fortitude. 

Pennsylvania Sends Thousands Of Illegal Immigrants And Non-Citizens Voter Registration Cards

Pennsylvania sent 2.5 million voter registration forms out to its registered drivers who had not yet registered to vote to implore them to sign up to cast their ballot in November. Many of those who received the registration cards turned out to not be American citizens, and therefore, are ineligible to vote. With the threat of voter fraud high, critics are furious that the state was so quick to issue registration cards without taking the time to properly verify the citizenship of the recipients. AMN

Don't get too excited, Arizonans. Historically, smuggling is a generational thing, along the Arizona - Mexico border. During the Wyatt Earp days of Tombstone, narcotics were quite popular and they were brought in from Mexico. During alcohol prohibition, smuggling also took place. The legalization/regulation of marijuana will have little affect on overall smuggling, as the drug cartels have already anticipated this move and diversified their interests to make up for any losses in revenue. The heroin epidemic, across this country, should give most people a general idea of how that's working. 

Five states will vote Nov. 8 on whether to allow recreational pot, including Arizona and California, the first two border states to consider the idea. If Arizona's ballot measure passes, pot shops would soon arise in a place that has long been a center of drug smuggling. In cities such as Nogales, smugglers are seen almost daily scaling the border fence with backpacks of weed. DM

Lawsuit Charges Environmental Impacts of High Legal, Illegal Immigration Ignored

The Interstate 8 corridor: We are actively patrolling our public lands and we're not going to stop, amnesty or not

Along with a few friends from out of town, we conducted anti-smuggling operations south of Interstate 8 in the Sonoran Desert National Monument. Volunteers, from around the country, make frequent trips to the “Contested Zone.” Prior to our embarkation, s Pacific storm called the “Pineapple Express,” dropped 0.18” of rain and significantly dropped our unusually warm temperatures.

This created a situation that aided us in that old tracks and sign were eliminated, creating a fresh time line. Our patrol punched out and had an uneventful night. Early Sunday morning, a pair of BLM Rangers stopped by our base camp. They departed a few minutes later. Our team also conducted some training that included casualty extraction. Finally, a British journalist met us for some interviews about the scope of our activities and why we do what we do.

The 17 (now 24) states suing the Obama administration over the president’s unilateral amnesty, led by Texas AG and governor-elect Greg Abbott, filed their lawsuit in Brownsville, Texas. That was evidently a strategic choice. Stephen Dinan of the Washington Times reports.

Judge Hanen said the government was wasting money, not saving it, by refusing to deport illegal aliens and instead, paying to connect children and their illegal alien parents. It would come as no surprise, if Judge Andrew S. Hanen will suffer an unfortunate personal scandal or get killed in a car crash (or explosion), sometime in the very near future.

The suit is not denying the premise that the president, as chief executive, can set deportation priorities. Rather, the states are basing their argument on the "Take Care" clause in Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution ("The President shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed..."). Although the president can set priorities on immigration enforcement, it doesn't mean he can ignore his responsibility to faithfully execute the law.

This clearly shows how little virtue, honor and courage our elected "leaders" possess, when they feel they must "cheat the document" and defile the Constitution. Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich Granted Amnesty to Millions of Illegal Aliens

Bill Clinton granted amnesty to at least 3,000,000 illegal aliens and with his actions–undoubtedly encouraged millions more to enter the U.S. illegally. Newt Gingrich’s so-called “Republican Revolution” appears to have been less of a revolution and more of a surrender. Keep in mind, Bill Clinton could not have rewarded those who chose to come here illegally, without the help of a Republican Congress. The GOP took control of both houses in the 1994 midterms and held them for the next 12 years. Not only were we betrayed by Reagan and Carter, it seems to be a presidential tradition, since Eisenhower. We have been deceived.

Congressman Reveals GOP Leaders To Push Amnesty For All But Violent Criminals

One of the top House Republican leaders, Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), revealed this week that GOP leaders intend to push an amnesty bill in the next Congress that would subject only the most dangerous illegal immigrant criminals to deportation so that "not one person" who is in the country illegally and has not committed a violent crime is "thrown out." Unskilled, illiterate and non-English speaking Third World people, having absolutely no desire or initiative to learn our language or assimilate into our society. All illegal aliens are criminals. It's impossible to live and work in this country, without committing additional crimes, on a regular basis. Unlawfully crossing our border is only the first of many unlawful acts these people commit.

Who is going to pay for them? What did Senator Sessions means when he said, "We intend to push a bill that would operate under the activity of trying to do under rule of law." Bearing in mind, that the illegal aliens and our current and past administrations have ignored and violated the rule of law, too. Wake up and smell the male bovine excrement, before the feces hits the rotor.

It's a little more than evident that our Congressmen and Senators are not listening to their constituents. Now that the election is over, they stopped telling us what we wanted to hear and are ignoring our wishes. When was the last time they listened? Who couldn't see this one coming?

Our federal and state governments have turned a blind eye towards illegal immigration for decades. They all knew tens of millions of illegal aliens were in our country, but they did nothing about it. They did nothing to secure the border and nothing to stop the increased numbers of them entering our country.

When we had thousands crossing our border, last August, what did Congress do? They went on vacation, while the Department of Homeland Security bused illegal aliens,throughout our country and under the cover of darkness.

Truth Fears No Investigation

Wednesday's "Goober of the Day" and the continuing and unmitigated failure of our government to secure our borders and protect our people

On 07/31/2013 (Wednesday) A recon was conducted at Lost Horse Peak, south of Interstate 8 near the Vekol Valley drug smuggling corridor. The drug and human smuggling problem that's way too close to home, continues. 

Shortly before sunset, this Mexican walked into Camp "X", looking for some water and a place to charge his cell phone. He claimed to have spent five days walking across the desert. So I may stall for time to get a Border Patrol response, I humored him with those small requests. We sat on the tailgate of my truck and had ourselves an enlightening conversation (Mostly in Spanish).

I learned that he was from Tijuana and that he worked as a mechanic. He was most interested in stealing one of those jobs Americans won't do. To buy us a little more time, we decided to invite him to stay for dinner. We also told him that the food was on the way and would arrive shortly. Some ladies would be making this "delivery". His phone wasn't charged enough and I gladly plugged it back in for him. Meanwhile, we waited and continued to talk.

Once the Border Patrol unit arrived, he calmly sat on the tailgate and made no attempt to run away. He produced a photo ID and was taken into custody, without incident. Minus his belt and shoe laces, "our guy" is sitting in the back, asking the Border Patrol agents for food. He really thought we were having a picnic.

Our lengthy, but very successful desert operation concluded shortly before 1:00 am on Sunday, August 4, 2013. At that time, we departed our area of operation. We shall return, shortly with a modified and expanded patrol. 

Communist Chinese Illegal Immigrant With Expired Visa Flies Into DC and Defaces US National Monuments!

WASHINGTON – A woman charged with defacing the Washington National Cathedral had a soda can of green paint with her when she was arrested, and she has been linked to at least four other incidents of vandalism, including at the Lincoln Memorial, according to prosecutors and court documents.

The woman, who has a Chinese passport, arrived in Washington a few days ago and was traveling on an expired visa, prosecutors said. Police said she had no fixed address but that she told officers she lived in Los Angeles. She refused to give her phone number, email address or home address, police said, and a language barrier complicated initial efforts to interview her. Full Article

Granting illegal aliens amnesty will likely cripple the already struggling job market and economy. There's nothing wrong with our current immigration policy. We have a serious and deadly border security problem. Public safety is being sacrificed to create a permanent dependent entitlement voting underclass.

Immigrant activists in Ariz. denied humanitarian parole

Nine activists in federal custody in Arizona for more than a week after attempting to cross the border from Mexico into the U.S. in protest of American immigration policy have apparently been denied requests to remain in the country on humanitarian grounds, organizers said Thursday.

Domenic Powell, a spokesman with the National Immigrant Youth Alliance, said the group is still awaiting formal notification from the U.S. government but it appears the requests have been denied, and they are now seeking asylum based on "credible fear" of persecution should they return to Mexico.
