Urban Safari expedition in downtown Chattanooga accidentally stumbles upon the historic Ellis Restaurant

My trips with the National Socialist Movement often include an activity we call "urban safari." These delightfully entertaining excursions frequently take us to the ghetto and toxic waste parts of decaying cities. These places have become testaments to successes and failures of previous generations.

Our trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee was no different. During last Sunday's early morning downtown "urban safari" I came across an interesting vacant and dilapidated building with a noteworthy neon sign over the boarded up building.

I parked around the corner from the Chattanooga Choo Choo and walked around for a couple of hours. Market Street was the definition of contrast. On one side was the neatly landscaped Terminal Station, which has been converted into a hotel. The other side was nothing but crumbling building and vandalized store fronts. More

Getting back to the "condemned" side of Market Street and the Ellis Restaurant at 1443 Market Street... The front is now boarded over from the signage down, but these pics, which were took c.2001 still show that great rounded front window and flanking doors. By this point, it had lost the majority of its virtolite, exposing the brick underneath. More

What Did That Old Building Used To Be? 

Gus Ellis emigrated from Greece when he was sixteen. After living in other parts of America, he settled in Chattanooga. In 1909, he started the Ellis Restaurant, which was originally located at Market and Ninth Streets. Soon, the opening of the Terminal Station provided business opportunities farther south on Market Street. In partnership with his cousin, Victor Ellis, he built the Ellis Hotel at Market and King Streets. Gus also relocated his restaurant to a site across from the Terminal Station... Chattanooga restaurant's neon frog sign coming back to life

In its heyday, the sign blazed in Art Deco glory. A green neon frog -- advertising the restaurant's frog legs -- jumped over such neon-lit menu items as "steaks," "chops" and "spaghetti." The words "Ellis Restaurant" stood out in red neon surrounded by more than 600 white incandescent bulbs. Full Article

At 7:00 am Sunday morning, the downtown area was almost deserted. There were no traffic jams or crowds of people. Other than the one person that crossed my path, I had this part of the city, all to myself. This was certainly a great way to spend a few hours prior to getting on the long flight I was boarding, later in the day.

Scott Coffey, owner of the Ellis Restaurant, is taking steps to refurbish his property -- which is sandwiched between the former pawn shop and the St. George -- from the outside in, starting with the $20,000 sign. After Action Report: 2014 National Socialist Movement National Meeting & Rally, Chattanooga, TN

On April 25 & 26, 2014, members and supporters of the National Socialist Movement, from across the country and around the world, converged on Chattanooga, Tennessee for our annual national meeting and public rally. Although all of our meetings are historical, this one was of significant importance. This year, the National Socialist Movement it celebrating its' 40th year as a political party and White Civil Rights organization.

Prior to conducting the business of the meeting, guests were treated to a catered dinner and were afforded an opportunity to mingle with their comrades and meet new friends. Commander Jeff Schoep kicked off the meeting with a historical time line of where the National Socialist Movement originated and where it has gone, up to the present day. Then, it was time to hand out rank promotions. Quite a few women have joined the ranks of the NSM and were patched in as full members.

At 2:30 pm on Saturday afternoon, a public rally was held on the steps of the Hamilton County Courthouse in downtown Chattanooga. After passing through the "TSA like" security gauntlet, members and supporters raised the NSM banner and waved flags, as the anarchists and Communists chanted nonsense and spewed profanities.

A wide "buffer zone" of orange construction fencing was constructed by the police to keep opposing groups as far away, as possible. The various speakers talked about the economy, illegal immigration and the state of our nation. Viable solutions to many of our country's problems were offered for consideration.

Ironically, David Tulis, a Chattanooga radio show host wrote an opinion piece and said, "The story is so vital to the people of the town that only one side needs be told. And that side is that of the counter protest." The protesters carried on, but began losing steam, towards the end, and were forced to listen to our speeches.

During the rally, several supporters from the Soul Survivors motorcycle organization made themselves known and joined us on the grounds of the courthouse, as well as a couple of our friends from the A.T.B. The local media stayed on the opposing side of the street, clearly demonstrating their bias and lack of objectivity.

Regardless of what we said, it was considered "hate." After the speeches were finished and all that was needed to be said, was said, we proceeded to exit the venue and returned to the hotel, where we mingled and enjoyed food and comradeship, well into Sunday morning. Plans are already in the works for our upcoming November rally in six short months.

My trip wasn't all party business. I also took some time to explore the Chickamauga Battlefield, outside Oglethorpe, Georgia and do some "urban safari" in downtown Chattanooga. While exploring the battlefield, we encountered a couple of small business that carried World War Two military items and even some Third Reich memorabilia. Not what I expected to find in the midst of Civil War history.

I also discovered that the City Cafe Diner, next door to the motel, has the best Mexican food. I also tried the chicken fried steak and the chicken gyro. Portions were amazingly large and reasonably priced.

On Saturday night, during our "after party," there was also a black wedding party taking place at the motel. Then, our new friends with the Soul Survivors rolled in on their bikes. The motel's night manager seemed worried, but everything stayed civil, but a little loud.

Long before sunrise on Sunday morning, I went on an excursion to downtown Chattanooga. I came across the Chattanooga Choo Choo and a row of abandoned buildings along Market St. Downtown Chattanooga is practically deserted on Sunday morning. I crossed paths with just one person, during my "urban safari."

Chattanooga residents against the NSM: 'They're not welcomed'

It's unclear why the NSM picked Chattanooga to hold a rally but the Chattanooga Historical Justice Coalition says it's holding a rally this Saturday in Miller park. Members say the purpose of their rally is to show that Chattanooga is a not a place for racial divide and hatred, especially as tourist season starts to kick off. Full Article

"They say the NSM is known for inciting violence and hatred through public rally's." Contrary to what they believe, the opposite is actually the case. Not once has the NSM incited violence. Without exception, it's the counter protesters that become violent and frequently find themselves sitting in jail.

In the wake of the sudden turn of events at the Bundy Ranch last Saturday, there's been lots of speculation as to why the events occurred, as they did. Firstly, I must dismiss many of the kooks that spewed globs of misinformation. I won't point fingers or name names, During the past week, I've done some extensive research, as did many others.

Although I have not found specific links for all I'm about to reveal, I did come across some interesting details and information that I've furnished, below. The government thinks they might like to see Cliven Bundy in court. They might not want to be so hasty. Hopefully, the Bundy Ranch will retain competent legal counsel.

It would appear the B.L.M. did not have the legal right to remove Cliven Bundy's cattle, even with the federal court order. Rule 64 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure states that any seizure of a person or property must be done in accordance with STATE law, where the court of decision is located. Meanwhile, Rule 70 provides that the party who won the judgment (that's the BLM) must have the clerk (of the court) issue a writ of execution or assistance. The writ is then executed and perfected by the Sheriff (Sheriff Gillespie), who would seize the cattle in accordance with the provisions outlined in Nevada's Law.

Nevada Law requires that the State Brandmaster or his appointee from the State Board of Agriculture be present to account for the seized animals, upon which the Department of Agriculture will take possession of the animals and deliver them to the party of judgment or their appointed agent. Now that's the law on livestock seizures that would apply in this case. As you probably already know, the B.L.M. didn't do this. They obtained a court order, skipped the court clerk, skipped the writ, skipped the Sheriff and also skipped the State Brandmaster and his department, and went straight to seizing Bundy's cattle by force. Reid had been silent on standoff between the Bureau of Land Management and rancher Cliven Bundy, who was accused of allowing his “trespass cattle” to graze on lands the government said was off limits. But when the bureau backed down Sunday, Reid let his lips flap. Full Article

Under Nevada Law, the B.L.M. clearly engaged in a form of cattle rustling. B.L.M. also violated state and federal laws which were designed to protect Bundy's right to due process, under the law. They also did so bearing assault weapons, attack dogs and engaged in use of intimidation, as well as physical force in light of Cliven Bundy's insistence that their activity was unlawful. It is important to realize how very serious this situation is in that 18 USC 241 defines "Conspiracy Against Rights" as two or more persons who conspire to intimidate, oppress, threaten or injure any person for expressing or enjoying any rights or privileges secured by the U.S. Constitution. Take another look at what happened on that ranch, the military style crack down, the violence. Imagine Clive Bundy was your father or grandfather. Imagine if his wife was your mother or grandmother. It is quite clear that when B.L.M. failed to adhere to Rules 64 and 70 of the FRCP, that they began unlawfully seizing Bundy's property, destroyed some of his property (B.L.M. admits to killing two bulls) and it is also believed that B.L.M. used a backhoe to destroy Bundy's range improvements (which are his property, even if the land is not). In doing so, they clearly violated his right to due process. It's also clear that when Bundy launched a resistance, that B.L.M. also attempted to intimidate, oppress and threaten him and others by deploying a wide range of tactics. Related

Several persons were injured, as is confirmed by video footage. All of the elements are there to successfully prosecute an unknown number of B.L.M. employees and contractors under 18 USC 241. That is quite a serious thing and if there is anything remotely resembling justice left in this country, I think we'll see serious repercussions for those involved in this. Our teams spent the last four days sitting on one of the popular dope trails near Hidden Valley. Drug and human smuggling activity has been on the rise, as of late and it was time to put forth a serious effort to put some pressure on the smugglers. I would like to thank our local and out of state volunteers that took the time to make this operation successful. We would also like to thank the U.S. Border Patrol for taking an interest in this area, too. 

From time to time, I like to revisit some of my old neighborhoods. Some of these excursions, are called, "urban safari.” The late J.T. Ready and I observed suspicious activity on multiple occasions at the African Caribbean Market, going back to September of 2011. When we attempted to report this possible criminal operation to the Department of Economic Security, our claims were dismissed and/or simply ignored. Meanwhile, the taxpayer continued to flip the bill (for millions).

We observed several people walk in, conduct transactions and none of them bought any groceries. The one thing that still burns in my mind, were the looks on people's faces, when I started taking pictures. In reality, there's a store like this on almost every corner... and within walking distance, there's a place to buy crack and heroin.

We're busy... building playgrounds, maintaining a desert base camp and tripping up cartel resupply operations in the Sonoran Desert

Bailey and I have been very busy for the past couple of weeks. I'm in the planning process of my semi-annual cross country trip, which will be taking place at the end of April. More details to follow. Last Friday, we volunteered for a day, manning the first aid station at a Carmax playground building project on the west side of Phoenix. Some 150+ people showed up and built a brand new playground. Sadly, it's on the "gangland" side of town and the thugs will probably destroy it, in short order. 

I spent most of this week on patrol with various border operators and a Minuteman group. We've been maintaining a base camp south of Interstate 8, near Smith Road. Drug and human smuggling traffic has been a bit slower in this area, than it has been in previous years. However, it appears that the smugglers plan to reopen this corridor. One of our patrols came upon a suspicious character in a pick up truck. Upon closer investigation, we discovered he was stashing food and water for the smugglers. 

Recently, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office released a statement indicating that they apprehended a subject with a vehicle full of cartel resupply goods. "The driver was later identified as Ramon Garcia (age 22 of Mexico). Ramon further explained that the spotters had told him to run from the deputy when they saw him attempting to catch up with him." The people that facilitate this criminal enterprise, from this side of the border, deserve a nice stretch in prison. U.S. citizens that engage in these activities are traitors and the lowest of the low. Even some of these so called "humanitarian organizations" are nothing more than "front groups" that work for the drug cartels.

Administrators feared the American-flag shirts would inflame the passions of Latino students celebrating the Mexican holiday. One of our highly valued team members lives in Maricopa County. For some time, he has been trying to get a doctors appointment. Apparently, his healthcare provider is so overloaded with Mexicans, he's having difficulty getting an appointment. Again, foreign nationals that have no business being in the country receive preferred treatment over U.S. Citizens. When are the rest of you going to stand up and do something about the illegal alien invasion and "demographic replacement" of this nation?
