It’s been a slow week at the ranch. . . .

Bailey got sprayed by a skunk Sunday evening and that’s really the only thing that has happened in days. None of those formulas and wives tales that are supposed to remove skunk odor really work. My best result was obtained with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. It worked well enough that I will let her in the house.

I did make my doctors appointment on Tuesday. As expected, they drew more blood samples and didn’t make any effort to treat my ulcer. I did find myself going from three prescriptions, up to four. For some unexplained reason, I need a stimulant. Let’s see if I got this right. Fatigue caused by blood loss can be remedied by introducing a stimulant? As always, Medicare got billed $145 for the visit.
.
I am self treating my ulcer with Equate Omeprazole 20mg acid reducer. We'll see how that works.

Later on Tuesday, I took a walk along the cotton fields near my home. I came across one of the most interesting plumbing repairs I ever saw. An older Mexican in a beat up green Ford pick up services these cotton fields. Apparently, one can fix a 10” line coming off an irrigation pump by stacking rocks in front of the leak. I returned a day later and discovered that a stick was shoved in between the pipe and the rocks. I was amazed!

I made the journey to Fry’s this morning to drop off my prescriptions. I am in no big hurry to fill them. I see no urgency. I might pick them up on Monday. Each time I drop off a prescription, I’m told that it will take two hours. Doesn’t that seem like a long time to put 30 pills in a bottle? If there’s no hurry to fill them, then there should be no reason for me to be in a big hurry to take them. There’s no way in hell I’m walking around this store for two hours. I couldn’t possibly do that much grocery shopping.

I wondered through the store and picked up a few groceries. That took no more than fifteen minutes. I moseyed over by the coffee bar and the lounge area to see what I could see. A few minutes later, two police officers walked by. They were looking for somebody. I went on about my business.

It has come to my attention that some people are getting upset with the Jews. With the firing of Ricky Sanchez and local Latino activist, Carlos Galindo coming under fire for making anti-Semitic statements, it really has to make one think if there’s some truth to it.

Latino Leader Made Anti-Semitic Comments

According to the paper, the blog said, "The Jews . . . Oh the Jews, How the Americans kiss the Jews' (expletive deleted)."

The paper also related this quote from Galindo's post: "Beware of this wolf dressed in sheep's clothing who today is the modern Jew. The Jew who knows how to control the media, and as always, knows how to control our money."

"The comments I made about Jewish people have nothing do with what's going on here. I respect the Jewish people. I respect Israel's right to exist," said Galindo during a protest he organized in downtown Phoenix Wednesday.

It seems to me that the Latino activists might be moving on the National Socialist Movement’s objects of criticism. As wrong as Galindo might be about illegal immigration, he’s certainly right about the Jews.

(NEWS) Phoenix Latino Leader "Carlos Galindo" Made Anti-Semitic Comments

‘The comments I made about Jewish people have nothing do with what's going on here. I respect the Jewish people. I respect Israel's right to exist,' said Galindo during a protest he organized in downtown Phoenix on Wednesday.

CBS 5 News reporter Sarah Buduson pressed Galindo about whether holds the same beliefs he expressed in his blog post.

Galindo refused to answer.

I was somewhat disappointed that Carlos avoided the subject when confronted by Channel 5 News. It was a bit “off topic”, but it would have been nice to hear what he thought in regards to the “chosen ones”.
