Toledo After Action Report: National Socialist Movement National Meeting & Rally, April 17-18, 2015

On Friday, April 17, 2015, members, supporters and friends of the National Socialist Movement converged on the city of Toledo, Ohio, for our 41st annual national meeting. Our banquet hall was located in a peaceful suburban neighborhood, where children were playing baseball in a field, across the street. A couple of passing motorists stopped to take  photographs and offer their support.

Comrades, from near and far, indulged in a fine meal and camaraderie. N.S.M. Commander Jeff Schoep kicked off the meeting, with a speech and rank promotions. New members were also patched in. Most of the speakers focused on the failure of the Democrat vs. Republican monopoly and the causes of our nation's economic failure and social demise. Rampant corruption on all levels of government have caused great harm to our once great nation. National Socialist economic strategy, fiscal responsibility and a dramatic shift in our foreign policy are key to rebuilding our country. After we concluded our business, the meeting was adjourned.

Following the meeting, some comrades prepared for Saturday's public rally in downtown Toledo, while others socialized at a local eatery. N.S.M. Media made preparations to live stream audio and video of the rally. For the first time, people could watch and listen to the rally, live and uncensored. We also learned of a police “exclusion zone” that encompassed several city blocks around the rally location. Businesses would be closed and parking restricted. All media were required to check in and obtain credentials.

By noon, our members, friends and supporters assembled for the motorcade to the rally venue, which was put on “lock down,” by the Toledo Police Department. In 2005, Communists, black agitators and anarchists rioted, looted and damaged property in Toledo. The biased media and local political officials unjustly  blamed the N.S.M. for their violent and unlawful actions. It's typical of the left to blame others for the actions and failures of their own. After entering a tight security gauntlet, we assembled at a designated staging area, while a police helicopter circled and SWAT snipers positioned themselves on nearby rooftops.

We proudly marched up to the front steps at “One Government Center” and observed approximately 150 counter protesters holding signs and Communist flags, as they spewed obscenities. One person, consumed with hatred, threw his cell phone, which landed harmlessly, on the steps, behind the formation of riot gear clad police officers. Commander Jeff Schoep was the first to speak and delivered one of his career's best. Topics focused on political corruption, failed policies, illegal immigration, crime and economics.

This wasn't the message of hate, racism and intolerance the crowd was expecting to hear and it became rather quiet, at times. People were actually listening to what we had to say. In the days before the rally, mainstream media, along with “community agitators,” did their best to create an atmosphere of fear and danger, in order to discourage people from attending the rally and hearing our message.

Arthur Jones, a longtime friend of the N.S.M. and military veteran, gave a very passionate “old school” National Socialist speech. Mr. Jones has been active in several groups over the last four decades, including the America First Committee, a group he said he founded "to combat the dual evils of Communism and Zionism."

At the conclusion of the rally, we formed a marching column and made our way to the parking structure, behind our venue. Almost immediately, anarchists and other miscreants, attempted to flank our column and cause disruptions. Tactical police units maneuvered around them and maintained order, as we departed the downtown area, without incident.

After our successful meeting and rally, the business of the day was complete and many of us visited a nearby establishment for food and fun. We looked back on the day's events and looked forward to the next gathering that will take place in November.

The truth is: The National Socialist Movement never brings firearms to its' public events. During last November's rally in Rockwall, Texas, a group known as "Open Carry Texas" brought rifles and were observed and photographed hanging out with anarchists and the New Black Panthers. This entire issue was more than likely designed to generate fear to discourage people from attending the event. A total non-issue and sham.

Toledo wants to disarm Nazi group, counter-protesters at upcoming event

Mayor Paula Hicks-Hudson, police Chief George Kral, and city Chief of Staff Robert Reinbolt filed a motion in Lucas County Common Pleas Court Wednesday to prevent both the event’s organizers, a group known as the National Socialist Movement, and expected counter protesters from carrying firearms as reported by the Toledo Blade. In other news: George Soros is planning to bribe up to 13.8 million legal immigrants to become citizens before the 2016 election. They will find you, teach you about the naturalization process and even pay your $680 dollar naturalization fee. And once you are finished, you will get a fresh supply of democratic campaign literature and an application for food stamps. They’ll probably move them onto the plantation to keep blacks company and create a new permanent underclass. Red Statements

Detroit “urban safari” and the April 18, 2015, National Socialist Movement rally in Toledo, Ohio... and more

On April 15,2015, I returned to the old and crumbling hometown of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, for a visit. April is rain and construction season. I did manage to see the sun, for a little while. My last visit was in 2011 and not much has changed, since then. I rode the Inclined Plane, which closed two days later, for safety reasons. I also cautiously explored some of the back streets in some of the more blighted neighborhoods, including Hornerstown. All in all, I had a great visit. Video

And on the day I left... Police said his body was found in the back of a car parked in an alley off of Wood Street in Hornerstown. “He was pronounced dead at 12:58 a.m.,” said Chief Deputy Coroner Jeff Lees. “An autopsy was performed this afternoon which confirmed he passed away due to a gunshot to the head.” It’s the first homicide in the city this year and the third for Cambria County. Prior to the National Socialist Movement rally in Toledo, Ohio, we set off for an “urban safari” to the Dearborn and Detroit areas. It was a most interesting and educational experience. We discovered blue tarps covering homes, just like in the impoverished nation of Haiti. Another fine liberal, black ruled utopia, indeed. Video

I greeted the crowd with "Good afternoon Toledo!" and received vulgar obscenities, in return... The neo-Nazis, who carried signs and banners, started their rally with the greeting “Good afternoon Toledo.” One speaker referenced coming to Toledo back in 2005, and he said they returned because they felt the city’s crime rate hasn’t improved. The rally started on schedule at 3:30 p.m., with the speakers’ words often drowned out by counter-demonstrators, booing and shouting “Black power!” “Black lives matter!” “Go home!” and other chants and slogans. There were no major incidents. One person was escorted out for throwing something (which turned out to be a cell phone, which is in my possession) at the NSM members; another person was arrested after the rally for failure to disperse.

NSM members ended the rally at 4:39 p.m. and police and deputies on horseback immediately moved the crowd out of the area, with one officer shouting into a megaphone for people to disperse. This led to a minor clash nearby with law enforcement as people were forced off the site of the rally, but resolved quickly. TFP

Once again, somebody, consumed with hatred and bigotry, complained about the heavy police presence at the National Socialist Movement Rally in Toledo, Ohio. The NSM never asks for, nor desires, police protection. City governments and the police departments insist that police provide security, solely because violent counter demonstrators are known to throw rocks, incite riots, assault bystanders, destroy property and set fires.

Neo-Nazis don’t deserve protection

Why are we providing police protection and disrupting our town for neo-Nazis (“City seeks gun ban, restrictions for rally; Order would cover neo-Nazis, others,” April 16)? Take Back the Night marchers for the evening of the rally were refused a police presence because of the rally. Rhea Goldstein

The rally, slated for 3:30 pm April 18, also will close a significant portion of downtown to vehicle and pedestrian traffic and will be secured by multiple law enforcement agencies. Streets, including parts of Adams, Superior, North Michigan, North Erie, and Beech, will begin to close to vehicles and pedestrians at 11 a.m. April 18. City Spokesman Stacy Weber said the event would cost Toledo taxpayers $100,000 for city police overtime.

There is no end to the government’s unmitigated gall in riding roughshod over the rights of the citizenry, whether in matters of excessive police powers, militarized police, domestic training drills, SWAT team raids, surveillance, property rights, over criminalization, roadside strip searches, profit-driven fines and prison sentences, etc. A representative government means nothing when the average citizen has little to no access to their elected officials, while corporate lobbyists enjoy a revolving door relationship with everyone from the President on down. We were warned about entangling alliances: "It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliance with any portion of the foreign world": it was George Washington's Farewell Address to us. The inaugural pledge of Thomas Jefferson was no less clear: "Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations-entangling alliances with none." More
