The Farmers Convenience Store: A Future Slum In The Making. . .

In my previous blog about the Farmers Convenience Store at 49301 W Papago Rd., Maricopa, AZ 85139, I brought the problem of drunk, passed out and otherwise unruly Mexicans that loiter on the west side of the store to your attention. In just a few days, this problem has escalated exponentially. The Pinal County Sheriff's Office has been contacted regarding public drinking and even prostitution.

It would appear that a Mexican whore house has been crudely erected along the fence behind the store. I made a preliminary investigation and took the above photographs. What I found is disgusting, unlawful and unsanitary. As far as I'm concerned, the Farmers Convenience store should be shut down immediately. There's no place for this in Thunderbird Farms or Maricopa.

While taking pictures, I noticed that the ground was littered with trash and empty beer cans. A mattress was also near the fence. Imagine what sort of biological materials are infesting this area.

What is a slum?

A slum, as defined by the United Nations agency UN-HABITAT, is a run-down area of a city characterized by substandard housing and squalor and lacking in tenure security. According to the United Nations, the percentage of urban dwellers living in slums decreased from 47 percent to 37 percent in the developing world between 1990 and 2005. However, due to rising population, and the rise especially in urban populations, the number of slum dwellers is rising. One billion people worldwide live in slums and the figure will likely grow to 2 billion by 2030.

The term has traditionally referred to housing areas that were once relatively affluent but which deteriorated as the original dwellers moved on to newer and better parts of the city, but has come to include the vast informal settlements found in cities in the developing world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slum

From looking at the pictures I took bright and early this morning, I'd say that the blue tarp and squalor looks like something that belongs in Haiti or some other Third World toilet. There's certainly no place for such filth behind a store and restaurant.

These are only a couple of the most recent calls the sheriff's deputies have responded to. The 49000 block of West Papago Road is a regular stop for law enforcement officers. Again, I put the blame solely on the owners of the Farmers Convenience Store. They are ultimately and legally responsible for everything that is taking place on their property.

Many local residents are either too busy or too stupid to care what happens to their neighborhood. I, on the other hand, don't want to see my property value plummet because there's a shanty town growing out from behind a local business.

GOP Candidate: Tent Camps for Illegal Immigrants

It's hard to imagine that the immigration debate in Arizona could get more extreme, but it did this week when Arizona State Treasurer Dean Martin, a Republican candidate for governor, suggested Tuesday that the state should build tent cities to house what could be a vastly rising number of illegal immigrants arrested under the state's new immigration law. Martin suggested that the camps could resemble tent-city jails in Maricopa County that currently hold DUI offender and inmates moved out of crowded jails, according to Politico. http://www.newsweek.com/blogs/the-gaggle/2010/06/10/gop-candidate-tent-camps-for-illegal-immigrants.html

Needless to say, Dean Martin dropped out of the race. With ideas like that, he would have made a terrible governor. The state should not spend one dime on building anything for illegal aliens. The state should be doing everything it can to deport them and make sure they don't come back. What part of ILLEGAL don't these people understand? As a taxpayer, I don't want to support illegal aliens. Not only that, I don't want to put up with filth and stench all in the name of diversity and multiculturalism.

What are you going to do this summer? In Arizona, we turn up the heat as the mercury rises.

As usual, I have filled up my plate with things to do this summer. Unwanted foreigners a.k.a. criminal invaders are still pouring over the Mexican border and this issue needs to be addressed on multiple fronts. The federal government still doesn't get it despite several states passing their own immigration bills.

This is a call to all patriotic Americans to step up and do something for your country. Don't sit back and watch your nation and home fall apart around you.

NSM's "Reclaim the Southwest" campaign
Destination - Las Vegas

On Saturday June 25, 2011 from 12 noon until 1:30 pm NSM Nevada will be back on the streets with a demonstration against illegal immigration. NSM Nevada along with NSM chapters from Arizona, California and Utah are continuing the Reclaim the Southwest Campaign, in order to increase public awareness of the illegal immigration problem.

The illegals are robbing the American worker by driving the wage scale downwards, and stealing American jobs, not to mention the burden they are putting on the American tax payer.

All like minded Patriots, individuals, and Organizations are welcome to attend this event. After the Rally a BBQ will be held for all that attended the event.

For more information on attending the Rally contact NSM Nevada: nsmnevada (at) gmail.com or nsmregion11 (at) gmail.com http://www.nsm88.org/announcements/lasvegasdemo2011.htm

"It might be wise for us, as American citizens, to consider calling a halt to the mass influx of even more millions of hungry, ignorant, unskilled, and culturally-morally-genetically, impoverished people...Why not [support immigration]? Because we prefer democratic government, for one thing; because we still hope for an open, spacious, uncrowded, and beautiful--yes beautiful!--society, for another. The alternative, in the squalor, cruelty and corruption of Latin America, is plain for all to see." --Edward Abbey
